I saw him with Richard on vox when they first hooked up. I think his voice fits perfectly! Richard is best friends with Robin’s son, Richard didn’t even know who Robin really was🤣🤣🤣
I don't see any loss even allowing a new singer And how are the young ones supposed to start anyway? Have you ever tried something like that? Getting a break like that is gonna make that kid go far
That's because he uses locking tuners and heavier strings . I use extra light gauge #9 strings and as long as you pre stretch the strings and the guitar has good tuners and a stable bridge or trem system it should stay in tune even with a lot of string bends . The other thing is set neck guitars usually stay in tune better than bolt on necks do .
His live album had a big impact on me playing wise. I wonder what Robin thinks of Uli Roth's playing? ULI is another player who had a major impact on my playing!

Robin Trower, Uli Jon Roth, Frank Marino are all very influenced by JimiHendrix´s guitar playing and Jimi will see and hear their playing on mother earth from his cloud in heaven and laugh, because they all do a very well job !?!?!?!?!?!?!? For years as an EJ fan people always compared him to RT. I love both, but don't in any way see the connection other than they both play a sunburst strat? lol. Totally different styles and genre of music for the most part. ***This isn't a WHO IS BETTER comment. Simply pointing out that I never understood the comparison between EJ and RT***
😂 The drummer looks goofy, but he's playing in time, and staying out of the way. That's all that matters really. I will admit I really liked his last drummer (Pete Thompson).

His Strat never goes out of tune like most do . ! He has thousands of riffs that are real TROWERPOWER

Every time I saw Trower, it was a good show. Even better than this performance.
Probably better/flashier drummers were a factor. This guy just is keeping time, not what you need in a trio.
