My parents had a 1971 Caprice Classic with 400 V8. It was a dream ride. The climacontrol AC and 8 track player was the heigth of luxury, at least back then. Great memories of that car.
I "inherited" my parents 73 Caprice coupe with the 400 small block when they got their 77 Monte Carlo. Loved that car, racked up 245000 miles on the original engine and tranny. Finally had to give it up due to the north east rust, always wished I could have saved it.
I was in college when this boat came out. They had a hard time clearing out the stocks after the all-new '77 came out with more room, more efficiency, better handling and better built quality. Last of an age, for sure.
Beautiful! Back when Americans put America first by driving American brands. Now. We think nothing of sending billions of dollars to Japan, Germany, and Korea. Because somehow the American car is not perceived as a status symbol anymore. Wake up America. While there is still time.
@@geosradiomusicalstuff3124 I can't disagree. But, to me, ifs a Patriotism thing. I understand. Believe me. I ride a Suzuki 1250 Bandit with 237,00 miles on it. Never been worked on. Just oil changes, chains, and tires. Runs like new. I cant image Hardley ever building something that reliable. I wish there was an American motorcycle that i could trust to go the distance. Maybe Zero Motorcycles. I'm considering.

You were probably conceived in the back seat.
smooth as silk
Classic Jason B 👊
Sure do miss the old tanks
A real car
Rare to see no crack on the top center of the dash where the front radio speaker is. Most of these ‘71 - ‘76 gen Chevrolets would get one.
Yeah, mine finally split at about 200,000 miles when I went over a bump on a frigid/cold morning

Not here - if you see a foreign brand in my driveway they’re only visitors and I’ve already given them “side eyes” about their Toyota…….🫤
