Love Philips humility and his encouragement to fast. I do believe God calls us to fast during certain seasons but we must realize fasting is a spiritual discipline just as prayer, worship, reading the Word, etc. There are different reasons to fast and yes the Lord calls us to fast for specific purposes but He desires us to make fasting a part of our life in Him.
Excellent video,much needed.I would love to try a 40 day fast.I've fasted 4 days max and during that time when hunger waves come ,I feel it.Sometime this year,I will try a 40 day fast to get closer to God.
What an amazing powerful testimony to hear from God and change lives! God directed me here to really hear His heart on fasting.... So I took mental notes! Testimony made me laugh and tug on my heart. 100% agree a real biblical fast is always to go without food ... not social media or TV, etc, although that's encouraged not to spend time on... God is faithful.
