I want to testify that I was watching this while fasting to receive more knowledge and power. I was completely annoyed at all the commercials every thirty seconds. I just said a little prayer: "God I want to hear this and learn but all these interruptions are making it hard." All of a sudden all those little yellow lines that represent commercials disappeared.

October my month of elevation in life through fasting and praying...
Well I did it! I fasted 14 days! I’m not too skinny either (for those concerned)! LOL. I choose to read the prayer and fasting examples in the Word and studied the book of Isaiah! I really enjoyed not eating, experienced much energy and productivity and felt a keen awareness of my Lord’s presence. After the fast I led my 21-day Body Reset for my peeps and was ready both physically and spiritually to lead them well. Now that’s it over, I’m planning another 14-day spiritual fast in a pursuit for wisdom, connection, healing and greater empowerment!

Don’t boast. Your fasts should be done in private and between you and God. Fasting isn’t for health benefits, it’s to grow closer to God. Yes there are benefits to fasting but that’s not the purpose. You went out of your way to let the world know you completed a 14 day fast, that you led others in a fast, and that you are going to do another fast soon. That shows me your intentions from the beginning we’re for personal gain and self glorification. Repent.

Kim Byrd I gave up “tasty food” and only drank liquids, with the exception, I had watermelon twice when I thought I might cave in. After day 6, I needed nothing except liquids.

I think that is dangerous and detrimental to many people for there is no way you can truly know the intention of one's heart. To make such judgments can often spiral others downward if their faith is its infancy or weak. Truly, @Junior Stil , I did not fast for self glorification. Quite the contrary. It felt wonderful to yield my soul to the Lord in the fashion of a fast for the 14 days. A very first for me! But yes, I did fast for physical gain too. Esther fasted for personal gain, as did many throughout the OT and I think that is perfectly acceptable. Even the very nature of Dr. Munroe's fasts are not done in complete private as they met nightly through the entire fast. My place is to encourage others; not need their encouragement. My place is to be kind, merciful and gracious; not need their kindness, mercy or grace. My place is to offer affirmation; not need their affirmation. I needed nothing from those who responded. Encouragement was my intention of the post and I am sorry I was misunderstood. In addition, there was no "out of my way to let the world know." And I did not "lead others in a fast;" I lead others in a Body Reset not a fast, which required me to be a servant leader. The fast enable me to be that servant. Lastly, when I was inquiring about the information Dr. Monroe presented, someone previous had commented on my size, telling me not to fast because I was too skinny. I laughed. That is why I commented about my size. I did not fast for weight loss or any vanity reason; I fasted for spiritual direction and physical healing. Truly, I do not feel the need to explain to you nor receive your affirmation or not. I desire to. A need and a desire are completely different. I received this message through my mother, as she knows I am on a 21 day fast with our church. My husband and I always fast and it's never been as hard as this one. We thought we had total understanding of fasting but Dr. Munroe broke it down in a way like no other. I had some slip ups and felt lost during this fast but now I have so much clarity. I am so THANKFUL for this word and teaching. It was greatly needed. Such a blessing. 🙏🏾

My favorite time in church has always been prayer meeting/service & there was always a hand full of seniors only @ these meeting. I still went & loved praying & still do, I just thought it was convenient because the less people the more silent🤷🏽♀️.
A lot of my prayers were about others so I never expected an answer or to see anything. But still when God acknowledge my prayers, I was blown away…
I had never seen this guy before (pastor invited him to preach) he not only mentioned my prayer mode, he also answered one of my prayer request. Then, after he was done preaching he said “I have a hand full of individuals I have to pray for” he lowered his face & closed his eyes & started pointing people out asking them to come foward, I was one of them.
I couldn’t believe how God the creator described me!!
Nothing in this world matters more than what God thinks about you & who you are in his kingdom.
Prayer is a must in a believers life, it is not a gift or an option.

I can testify that indeed there is power in fasting. Last month i fasted for 5 days (no food, only apple juice, herbal tea and water). On day 2, I got a phone call asking me to share my CV. Long story short, i start my new job mid April. God is good. He is not a man that He should lie or a son of man to give false testimony. Try him, He will grant you the desires of your heart. ❤

I started my 40 day fast and currently on day 18 (no food only water and one cup of natural juice smoothie a day). So far this journey is challenging but also life changing in a positive way. This is my second 40 day fast (my first fast 2015 was when I received the Holy Spirit and accept Jesus as my lord and savior) this fast was to get clarity and understanding more on my marriage and God has already given me a clear answer. Sometimes we may go into a fast asking God for something specific on what WE want but end up coming out of a fast on the direction of the Holy Spirit and what is best to glorify Jesus name! I went into this second fast thinking I should leave my husband only to get in the word of God (bible) and find out I need to stay, work it out, forgive, and control my thoughts and mouth. I thank God he loves me enough to show me not only my husband is not perfect but that I myself not perfect as well. We all fall short and this is why we need Jesus every single day that we are here on this earth. Now, I no longer have anger and have authority over my thoughts. Seeking God first, loving my husband, and two boys are my priority. Thank you Jesus for your love and mercy ❤️🙏

Thank you Dr Myles! I watched this video years ago to prepare me for my first fast. I was fasting and praying for 3 days for God to provide me with a car. My car had so many mechanical issues with it at the time. I was also in between jobs so I couldn’t afford the monthly payments either. Those people repossessed my car. The day after completing my fast my brother (which was in the military at the time) came in town unannounced on his break and gave me his car. Y’all should’ve seen the way I cried. Thank you Jesus! I’m preparing for another fast now. 🙏🏾

Some churches say fasting doesn't mean God will answer you. They never mention fasting. I am a witness that fasting for God works. Follow the word of God. God wants his people well. Praise God, I truly miss brother Monroe. Thank God for his videos and books. My daughter is healed of stage 4 cancer completely that her Dr couldn't understand it. Praise God for fasting and prayer. One year ago I was a hardcore atheist. I was one a one month trip to Vietnam and got drunk so many times, that I ran out of money. I was forced to fast for 9 days which I did. When I came back home to Denmark I started reading The Bible. From hardcore atheist to a true believer in Jesus Christ in less than a year. Kickstarted by a 9 day non-voluntary fast. Got a job offer day 10 but denied it
Got promoted to higher company 5 days later on day 15
Haven’t had a single migraine since my first fast last October which caused my diagnosis of Epilepsy
Family and friends think I’m crazy so the only way I can explain is to tell this testimony to them 🙏🏾

Absolute fast. Drink water obviously but tea, apple juice and cranberry juice. I usually chew tons of gum to at least make my body feel like I’m eating something lol

Fasting has changed my life and I do not mean mildly - I mean POWERFULLY! I’ve been a Christian most of my life and back in March 2021, the Lord put a strong urge in my heart to fast. Always wanting to please my Savior, I agreed immediately and proceeded to complete a 21 Day Daniel Fast. On day 21, I was completing my final prayer in which I asked Him for something (I'll keep that part private) and immediately the Lord spoke to my heart in a very strong way - He startled me! This is what He said: "THERE IS NO MORE TIME NOW. YOU BELONG TO ME. FOLLOW ME AND I WILL SHOW YOU." (I’ve never felt scolded and loved at the same time). Folks, if you need to hear from Jesus Christ, if you are sick and need healing, if COVID-19 has taken a loved one, anything at all; I guarantee you, He will connect with you in a very supernatural way! I promise you! Great teaching here. Thank you and God bless you all!

I started my 40 Days water 💦 Fast today. I’m praying and fasting for God to bless me with marriage and my sister as well. For my mother’s salvation and my three other siblings. I have never cried as much as I have been crying during this fast. I pray for God to strengthen me as I go through this fast. I believe that as a child of God , certain things should be our birthright and we should not be struggling to get them. I will come back with a testimony in Jesus name! 🙏🏽‼️

My baby girl married a female and it almost took my out with pain…… my oldest daughter and I fasted for 21 days no food and that marriage was cancelled IMMEDIATELY……. I’m gonna BELIEVE GOD FOR MORE!!!!!

Day 3 of my 40 day fast and I almost broke. I'm not hungry, it's all mental. God asked me if I wasn't tired of starting over. Told me to go take a walk and led me back to Dr. Munroe. I want to fast and pray but I'm finding it difficult.
Fasting 😢 is the key to break generational curses, ancestral curses, bloodline curses and open doors the enemy closed .
Fasting draws you closer to God , it also helps you to break bad habits, addiction , sin .
If you think you don’t dream or you cannot remember your dreams fasting will brings you into spiritual realm God will show you the things the enemy have pending in your life .

I thought I was alone. Same here oooo but guess what? The devil snuck in and told me just two days ago that I should fast just Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so I could be able to go with the health tip of drinking water on an empty stomach but here I am listening to this and realising it's the devil steering me off of the right thing for me. From my expirience i can testify about the power of fasting.
This year 2021 january i went on a 21 day prayer and fasting.it was my first time to go on a long fast.i felt convited to go on it because my life was a mess;i was lost in fornication,toxic relationship and i was deep into mustabation for more than a dacade.The fast wasent easy but thank God for Murnroe Global and dr munroe for before i went on the fast i listened on all the sermons on fasting on this cahannel so i got the motivation to push on…Trust me i am typing this on December 29 2022 and as i speak i am 100% free from fornication,toxic relationships and mustarbation.i cant explain How but God is graceful ,Holy spirit is real and its impossible to pray and fast and not get the results🙏.Trust the process …..DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF FASTING🙏

I’m always tempted by pornography and lust of the flesh. As much as I pray I always and still falls short everyday. But when I pray and FAST I feel this strength to overcome lust with the help of the Holy Spirit.
The Lord delivered me in 2019 till now. May He give you same grace.

Listening to this in 2023. I developed tonsilitis 2 days ago while on fasting. The pain was just too much and could not swallow even water. Then the Holy Spirit reminded me of this teaching esp on the part he said if you are sick just fast and pray and you will recover. I did just that and got healed without any medication. All the pain is gone. So thankful to God for Dr Myles. Though he is gone but his teachings are so powerful and effective even to this very day.

when i watched this for the 1st time i kept asking "really" when he said it was impossible to fast and not get results..I tried it and LORD what happened thereafter words can not describe,Brothers and Sisters have faith,pray and fast God will do all that he promises.I got what i prayed for i get teary sometimes when i think about what the LORD did for me,I think for most people they don't believe because it sounds so simple or easy but its the real mccoy. I am fasting and praying for a wayward grandson, he's lost his way, we reared him in the admonition of the lord, as soon as he turned 18 he quite school and joined these young men on the streets living wrong, we don't know where he is but I declare and decree that he is safe, healed, that he is set free from the enemy, that he is on his way back home. Back to school and he is going to minister to those who led him astray and they shall be saved. All that know a word of prayer touch and agree with me in Jesus name.
