    Why did you charcoal on paper then transfer it onto the plate vs charcoal lines directly on the plate?

    Gotta let dry after removing stencil before the pick up layer

    I am so sorry if this is a stupid question.. Can you draw the chalk straight onto the geli plate?

      Hi! No; not straight on the plate. It just won't slide. You have to draw on paper (I use newsprint) and then turn it upside down so you rub the chalk onto the plate.

    You need to tell to let the paint dry between layers.

    Could you not put the pieces of paper on charcoal markings and then roll black over it?

      Yes! But, then the charcoal not coated with acrylic would dust off.
