Hi ladies! Love you all! I just have to say it depends on how long it’s been and what the apology is for. I remember when I was dating this guy a long time ago, way bf I got married who broke up with me after seeing his gf again and having feelings for her all over again. He apologized to me a couple days later I think and I wasn’t having it, bc I really liked him. To this day, if I were to run into him, that is, if I were going anywhere and he were to apologize again, I would accept his apology. I’m married now to my husband, and I’ve got kids so, it would be whack if I didn’t accept his apology and really be ok with it.

Lol... No. Apologies are for words. Compensation is for actions. Also, AA and NA, sometimes after complete people make peace with their past. Something I explained in my blog. A long time ago. But I don’t know something about me in which I don’t hold on to, water, for long. Once I get my salt and potassium and let loose it’s a wrap. I don’t check the bowl for color or plasma. I just flush. Wash my hands and keep it trucking. I’ve has issues with water retention so I know. And why is the real understanding. If I hurt someone that long ago I wouldn’t even know. Unless it’s physical. The apology needs to be genuine. Apologizing to help yourself heal isn’t wrong, but why include the other person if the apology is solely for your own healing and not theirs?
Writing an apology for them in your journal would be just as affective 🙌🏽

That's why I don't get it when they and others saying they're apologizing to feel better. That's what an apology does and that's why it's done lol... It's a healing for the offender and the offended and takes humility on one's part to apologize. Forgiving someone who has wronged you makes you feel better too. That's like saying "you're only forgiving that person to make you feel better". well, yeah lol.. If someone only cared about making themselves feel better and not caring about the other person, they would not apologize but rather justify their actions to make themselves believe what they did was not that bad or that the person just overreacted.

It is NEVER too late to apologize. I have been on the receiving and giving side of a late apology, and I don't regret one time.
Sometimes clearing the air is just to close a chapter of your life. Last year I dumped A LOT of friends and associates for a number of reasons. Some I apologized for "how" I dumped them (I ghosted them) and some I didn't apolgize to them because I knew they wouldn't accept my apology.
You should never allow pride to get in the way or stop you from doing what you know is right😘

Apologies are always welcomed, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to feel better about the situation. Even the people who have DONE ME DIRTY if they apologize I’m happy for them because if it’s genuine it means they’ve grown, realized what they did was wrong, and will refrain from doing it in the future. I also don’t think saying “I had to get this off my chest...” and apologizing for your own mental health is bad. Genuine apologies are for both people, when you apologize “for yourself” you’re also hoping that the other person knows that you’ve changed and hopefully they can make peace with the situation knowing that you recognize your wrong doing.

So I'm I not supposed to have friends apart from the ones he knows and pretend to be mad for three days without picking my calls. I'm Soo done but he won't let it and because he knows my mom and work with her and my aunty so he respects them that's y he can't say it's over till I say it. And I can't because I don't know yet what to say and he won't use it against me 4 his purposes like she left me I married fast out of anger,or is because she so aid it over I left her while he does not deserve even mentioning me 4 all he has done.
