You can definitely get the “All Natural Leather Conditioner” on the welt stitching, and it won’t change the color. That’s why Red Wing offers their conditioners in neutral colors. Once you’ve applied the conditioner on your boots, let them dry for a bit, then buff them with a horse hair brush to restore the matte look. Also, with Red Wing’s thicker conditioners such as the All Natural or Mink Oil, a little bit goes a long way 👍🏼

@@grahamhere3790 I promise it will not discolor the threads. I condition my Red Wing’s all the time and am never afraid to put Conditioner on the welt itself since it’s leather too. The Conditioner didn’t discolor the threads on the uppers of your boots right? It’s totally safe 👍🏼
