What's wrong with liking what you both like and respecting what each other likes individually? It's quite obvious that even without liking each other's snacks you both had fun. Relationships aren't about liking everything the other person likes. You should both just enjoy the journey rather then allowing what you don't like (despite the other person's likes), to come between having a lasting relationship. My parents have been together for quite a long time now and there are things they don't like that the other does like, then there are things that they do like, that came from the other persons likes. Which btw the things they don't like that the other does like, is often a point of loving jokes between them.
Cuties, you definitely need to buy a Soda Stream (or an off brand Soda Sparkle like I have). I use mine all the time. The bottles are reusable, & you get the gas bottles refilled at the servo. You can even get cheap white wine & turn it into sparkly wine! (Be careful with this, it tends to bubble over. Just hold it over the sink) Any-hoo, have an ace day
