Dryfield, Nevada is the setting for a significant portion of Parasite Eve II, My first project to use Procedural Textures, But not all textures are procedural! It's not complete because I didn't make the Junkyard and Trailer Coach areas. Vehicles, Plants, Stones, etc..

Trivia:
The Mountains beside the Water Tower is actually where the Abandoned Mine which was the Shelter's entrance was located (According to the Map inside the Bar's Restroom)
You can see Aya saying "I can see the Dryfield down below" if you look at the Mountainside.
Now it does makes sense how the Shelter was connected in Dryfield's Underground Well.
i really thought when i was a kid that The Shelter was miles away from The Dryfield haha

Great game, I couldn't never finish it. The final boss was really hard to beat but I had fun playing it. All these games vere so iconic and the song is so nostalgic, and disappeared like this, forgotten. Parasite Eve deserved a good remake, or a remastered for the actual console generation with a more powerful graphics and system. Exceptional work here👌🏻
Yep, same here. I really enjoyed the game a lot up until the final boss. After dying about 50 times, I turned it off and just watched the ending on RUclips. I like a challenge, but that final boss is just ridiculous. There's no reason for it to be so hard.
@@derp9193 you have to shoot all his body parts. It's not easy and ammo aren't enough to destroy every part of his body. The final boss is ridiculously strong and hard to beat. After dying like 100 times I just gave up and didn't play it for a long time. I tried to play it a couple of years ago but strangely a code doesn't work anymore and I can't go further in the game
@@Tony76Hitomi Did you guys really find it that hard? Energyshot + Antibody really makes it easy, just use some grenade launcher rounds + m4a1 and Rupert's magnum (Rupert only gives you if you are at the bad ending route), the fight is not that hard , you just gotta learn how to dodge some attacks
I just realized how easy the final boss is, I would use the Apobiosis / Life drain, on repeat. Next thing you know the boss is defeated lol ( Stock up on all the items that fill up the MP levels )
Don't give up! I thought the same at first, but it's easy af, even on Nightmare mode! Remember, Aya has powers, use 'em!
De las 7 mil veces que lo jugué, nunca me dí cuenta de lo chiquito que era el hotel y la cantidad de horas y diversión que había en tan poco espacio ❤. El sonido me llegó al corazón y recordé hermosas horas que pasé con Aya Brea❤.
In some alternative universe I still have faith thay one day Square will reconsider a Parasite Eve 1 & 2 Remake. I still play this classic till this day because I love it. 💖
Same here, it's my favourite games of all times, and I'm presently playing 'The 3rd Birthday', which basically is Parasite Eve III.

I think pe1 and 2 are masterpieces that deserve remakes instead of remaking garbage make games people will love

Just give it time. Their mitochondria will awaken and they will give us a remake of this game. Let's just hope their mitochondria doesn't awaken away the rpg feel to it because that's what keeps me grounded and able to face the horrors.

Somos dos, es mi juego favorito, aun con la grafica que muestran ahora pienso que podria quedar aun mejor, podrian igualarlo a resident evil 4 que saldra proximamente, incluir la aventura de kyle y los demas seria una joya y un motivo para comprarme la ps5

It is possible to replace the backgrounds of the original game by the Duckstation emulator, I've already done the test with another work of mine (Resident Evil 3 Nemesis), in which case I render the camera angles of the original game and replace it with mine!

Nice stuff, I would scale it up a bit, looks tight on space and also add all the layers of dust, damage, cracks etc to make it look old and worn like in game. Good job!
