1998 is one of my all time favorite songs. I was totally floored by it in my youth. Way back I naively emailed Binary Finary for help on trance production. Stuart (of Binary Finary) actually responded with a detailed message containing tips and tricks.
Near the end he said, "Keep going... it will happen....... believe in yourself, in what your doing... your music style is a progression, your own progression... Keep it that way..." It meant a lot for him to actually not only take time to personally respond to a young, amateur producer but to be so supportive. I saved the email and will always remember that. Yes, I do write trance music (to this day!). Thanks, Stuart!

I was lucky to hear this version first (not the shorter radio mix), I was 18 years old, it was on a rainy evening, and I was blown away, I haven't heard anything like this before. Took me a few days to track down what was the track I just heard.

I just got back to this song recently during a run (after a break of 10yrs due to a life changing surgery).
What is the BPM for this? This beat is the best for my run tempo and would like to find other songs to create a mix that would keep my cadence.
Not that I don’t love this song as it has been an annual “go to” song for me during long drives, BUT I would love to listen to something for than this on five-time repeat during a 45min-1hr runs!!!
