    Im in the process of making my second paludarium. Upgrading from a 25 to a 60 gallon, and man I wish I had the talent of all these legends on youtube.

    Amazing work on the paludarium, I love it, especially the continuity of terrestrial/aquatic plants, the cool toned lava rock, and the filter output over the rocks. Beautiful and certainly inspirational!

    How beautiful. This is the coolest paludarium I've ever seen. It's like you're walking in a tropical forest and arrive at a white sandy beach.

    That's a beautiful paludarium, I'm really starting to shift my interests from aquariums towards paludariums, because I like the idea of a more complete ecosystem, as I'm all about replicating nature in a controlled environment. Great video, as always. Also, Alex is cute.

      Alex haha I started with an interest in aquariums, then found out about planted aquariums. The paludariums. Finally been researching and think I'm going to settle for a crafted bioactive bearded dragon vivarium. Absolutely beautiful and a whole ecosystem with a literal dragon as the center piece. Plus they're basically scaly dogs who enjoy interacting.

    I like it because its shallow, it has fishes in it, alot of variety plants, it mimics nature. Totally love it.

    Now this is an example of excellence! The sand does look natural because in many ecosystems, sendimentary rock is worn away to sand leaving only the igneous and metamorphic rock behind as large pieces, often of a contrasting colour. This often creates exactly this sort of stark contrast.

    So beautiful. I can imagine what it would be like to have that in my living room. I'd like to see a video of the initial stages of the hardscape. I'd like to know how he contains the soil for the terrestrial plants - are they in pots? Anyway, thanks for posting that fantastic display. BTW, I just found out the Home Depot sells black lava rock for fire pits. $14 for 10lbs.

    I don't comment to often but That is a beautiful tank and the animals looked happy and well token care of. Just one thinking bothered me about this video. The close up detect eye contact as soon as the video started Lowkey shook my soul😂🤣. Have a grate day.

    Just wanted to say that the white sand with black lava rock doesn't actually look unnatural to me. In Hawaii there are lots of beaches that have that contrast of white sand and also black lava rocks that jut into the ocean. It looks nice to me!

    Oh my that is absolutely beautiful! One of the days I would like a paludarium, they are amazing. I have no idea where to start. Out aquarium / pet store that was in town closed down so we are stuck with a pets mart only.
