- Welcome to the beautiful Tushar Mountains - home of the 3rd highest range in Utah (after the Uintas and LaSal range). This high mountain road crosses over 11,500 feet and is reminiscent of some of the passes in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Come join us as Eric and Jamie (XplorAdventure) take their brand new, overland-ready 2022 4Runner TRD Pro (named "Great White") on a ride through Utah's famous gold country!

Nicely done. That's a part of the state I need to explore more. Thanks for the views.
Thanks Nigel! It was the first time for me in that area. Lots of beauty!
Love the drone shots 😍Barbeque tastes even better in the woods 🤤Subscribed 👍
Thanks! We’ll have to do bbq for sure!
Hi, i enjoyed watching your adventure. What awning you got there?
It's an Eezi-Awn awning (made in South Africa). I'm not exactly sure of the model but I think it's the Series 2000. Thanks for watching.
What book is that? Looks like a great book for newbies to have!
Sorry for the late reply but yes, it’s an awesome book. We bought it back in the early 2000’s and not sure if it’s still in print. It’s called Backcountry Adventures Utah by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson.
Great video, where is this trail head? I looked for silver king mine but couldn’t find where you were. Looks like an interesting area. GPS coordinates would be great , thanks
It's part of the Paiute ATV trail system but we accessed it at I-70, 22 miles south of Richfield - the same exit as Fremont Indian State Park. Take FR113 (Kimberly/Mill Creek Road) south under the I-70 freeway - this road will take you past the Kimberly and Silver King mines and take you around the upper slopes of Mount Belknap. The guide book I have has some GPS coordinates listed so it's pretty close to N 38°29.80' W 112°21.96'
What suspension did y’all upgrade to? Great content by the way!
Thanks for watching! We didn't go with anything super fancy but the tried and true Bilstein 5160/6112 combo and also heavier springs. I've used Old Man Emu (on our LandCruiser 100 series) in the past and they are great too. I didn't touch the UCA's yet since we didn't go over a 2.5 inch lift but I think that will be one of my next upgrades. I might put front lockers on first though.
Hello can you tell me the name of the artist and song that starts at 11:35? Sounds amazing
It's a cool one for sure! It's called Last Forever by Dye O - www.epidemicsound.com/track/Ce6yYV3tbP/
What suspension did you guys go with?

What book are you using?
It's this one - I've had it for years. Sadly it's no longer in print so the pricing is outrageous but you can probably get it used for a decent price. www.amazon.com/Backcountry-Adventures-Utah-Ultimate-Utility/dp/1930193270/ref=sr_1_1?crid=XWTDSJGAOMZT&keywords=backcountry+adventures+utah&qid=1669414849&sprefix=Backcountry+adven%2Caps%2C190&sr=8-1&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.fa474cd8-6dfc-4bad-a280-890f5a4e2f90
