Thanks Liam! This upgrade looks fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't help but feel a bit cheated by the upgrade pricing to be honest. I saved a lot to switch from Logic to Live Suite a bit more than a year ago and now the upgrade price is too expensive in my opinion (200 euros, 159 early bird)... It's way too short of a lifecycle. I understand Ableton's devs must have worked hard on this and every work needs to be rewarded. But having to buy an upgrade this soon (for me) and this expensive is leaving me with a bitter taste.
Hey, one question: does the new folder structure in the Audio Effects category (19:56) also come with Live 11 or is it something I can change now? I like to keep Plugins etc. organized.
You can build your own RC-20 like Effects Rack with Redux (26:44) to add gentle bit-reduction for that gritty 12-bit sampled sound. You can also get the sound of vinyl 'wow' by using the vibrato setting (28:52) with a low rate and low amount. Is there a specific sound you're looking for?
