This is by far one of the more easier tutorials on EQ that I've seen so far. Every other video keeps jumping into mono, then back to stereo and doing a bunch of other stuff without actually explaining why, which as a beginner is so frustrating to watch. Thanks for this!

Such a good tutorial, 16 min long but worth it because you truly explain the why's.

The first tutorial that explains concepts as well as how to use it. You really went into detail about what everything means and WHY you apply EQ. Subbed man, i look forward to more stuff like this.

Yeah other tutorials were starting to piss me off by introducing 1000 things at once I've never seen b4 and then not explain what it is lol. This tutorial is perfect.

Brilliant! My first time here, mate. Master Class stuff. This stands as a good primer on EQ in general, regardless of DAW being used. I'll be back for more. THANK YOU!

Been watching a ton of your videos and haven't really commented yet. I gotta say your videos are very consistently informative. Thank you for your whole Ableton series. I am coming out of a producing hiatus and it has been a great way to download and refresh my brain so I can calibrate my old (some outdated and clunky self-taught) habits & techniques to be more efficient in the studio. Cheers man!

Great video!!! You explain things so simply. People over complicate explanations which causes more confusion so I really appreciate finding this video

Finally decided to purchase Ableton Live 10 since it is easier to use for me on Mac than FL Studio which I use on PC and this tutorial helped a lot for both DAWs! definitely subbed good content!

Fantastic clear and good paced tutorials . Best I’ve come across. Are you planning to tweak updates for live 11 ? Clips actions etc

Man, you explained it so well.
Unfortunately, the track you chose for demonstration purposes should have been more good enough to show the difference in sound after you tweaked the settings on all EQ's presented here. But never mind, I shall try experimenting on couple of other tracks. Thanks a ton. Pune city, India

I did see that about the Snare and Hi Hats that you would need to reduce the lower frequencies. Run into a little bit of a challenge if you are using a Rack and the Kick and Snare and HiHat are all on the same track though. Cutting low frequencies on the Snare or Hi Hat would then cut the low frequencies on the Kick. I might run 2 presets and then not allow the Hi Pass on the Snare or Hi Hat. Essentially keeping the lower frequencies of them. Or run 1 EQ and boost highs and lows to acceptable balanced levels.
