Man oh man, that gorgeous Decepticon sticker makes a glorious difference. He just looks so much more complete with it applied. Sigh... can't wait to have this silver masterpiece in my grubby hands. Thank you so much for posting this EnclineDesigns, just have to clean off the drool on my desk now.
Thanks man. I was on the fence until you posted this review. Even after I watched Peaugh's review, I was unsure. But since you told us that this is a pre-production sample and that the issues would be addressed, I decided to pull the trigger and pre-order. I also am glad to see the orange safety caps can be removed. I think this Megatron scales damn near perfect to MP-10 Prime. The transformation is a beeotch - dare I say over-engineered - so It's not likely I will be transforming it much.
You know what would be cool? If Apollyon said, "Starscream, shut your cockpit." XD I loved when he said that in the cartoon; one of my favorite phrases from the show.

I wish they could work on the plastic finish. The chest part should look crispier and smooth and the red plastic and black parts should look a lil bit darker

Some folks have no real interest in purchasing the figure, they are only interested in spreading FUD and they are incredibly vocal, which makes tfw2005 an annoying read at times.... Every single review of apollyon has been positive thus far, and yet ppl are finding excuses to nitpick on this figure. geez...
Hey Encline, i was wondering if his fusion canon can be opened up to change the lens and/or bulb to pink or purple instead of red. Hard to tell if it has screws or not. I think that would be really neat.

Seriously, put MP05 beside your masterpiece optimus and its laughable. That thing looks like a frankenstein gobot. And making him gold just turned him into a GOLD frankenstein gobot. This is the most accurate G1 megatron we are going to get for a while. And its pretty Fn great!
So overall ED… What’s your overall opinion of X-transbots Megatron? But I was kind of holding off with getting him until I kind of saw what other people’s opinions of him. I base that on my personal experience that I had with Krank. I didn’t have problems with Pipes, but I have done through 2 Kranks… & might do a 3rd. Returned the 1st 1 that got, & am thinking of getting a 3rd because I have issues with the 1 that I have now. So if anything breaks in the future, I can just do a parts swap like I have done with a # of guys that have bite the bullet. I just kind of ask the question after I saw that X-Transbots did a recall with the 1st wave that they released of Apolloyon. With all the problems that I have had with Krank… I don’t know if that carried over to Apolloyon as well. The Masterpiece Megatron is well known to have problems with bars for his arms. I like the fact that this version… his arms just pop off. When you look at an old G1… that’s usually the main thing that is wrong with him. Overall… how durable would you say that he is? I don’t plan on transforming him 15 gazillion times. He will be a display piece if anything else. And even when I display him, I am not going to put him up high. I am going to keep him out of the way… but he is dropped to a carpeted rug from a desk, will he smash to a million pieces? Like I said… I just ask because with all the problems that I have had with Krank. Megatron was 1 of the 1st Transformers that I had as a kid… so a lot of fond memories there. I just wanted your 2 cents worth on that. Thanks man!
you are comparing apollyon to a 4th printing American optimus...the mold is stretching making anything after the 2nd release is going to me loose and floppy... my takara tomy mp-10 is rock solid and will not limp out the way yours is done. next time buy Japanese, frankly American made toys suck

My only complaint is those chest dents. I don't see why they can't fix such an obvious flaw.
