      @@Matt-os2zn 2016 LeBron. But that LeBron had Kyrie and Love when he was still a decent option most times. Let's also not forget that the 2016 warriors didn't have KD, and let's also not forget that the teams that they played in the East were much weaker compared to 2018, especially when you factor in the fact that LeBron's third best player in 2018 was probably Thompson, and he almost beat the KD and Steph SuperWarriors in game 1, but JR Smith... Anyways, let's also not forget that Draymond's ban and Steph and Bogut's nagging injuries played a big part in the 3-1 comeback, although it was impressive nonetheless. The 2016 Cavs could have gotten swept by the Pistons, the 2018 Cavs either put up a fight or destroyed any team in the East (Toronto). Furthermore, the 2018 Cavs had worse seeding, and in theory (and practice) had tougher matchups in the East, and had to face a better warriors team, and without Kyrie, and with the empty, hollow carcasses of JR and Thompson and some other people who I wouldn't recognise if they were in front of me with a billboard of themselves behind them. LeBron carried the 2018 Cavs, whereas he was the largest part of a team in 2016. Case closed

    Here’s my ranking:
    1) Kawhi Leonard - Statistically a historical run. Played the best comp (had to go through 2 championship contenders before the finals). Hella clutch. Was the leader of the 2nd best defensive team since the 04 Pistons.
    2) Dirk - Led the Mavericks to arguably the most improbable championship in league history. Finished series before 7. Swept the defending champion Lakers, the Thunder (who went to the finals the next year), and finally, dismantled the Miami Heat Superteam in 6. Hella clutch. Won the chip.
    3) 17-18 LeBron. But honestly, I’d rank the 2012 LeBron run higher than his final run in Cleveland. Moreover, I think any Superstar could have more or less replicated LeBron’s run in the East that year. The best team he faced was the Raptors, and even though people clown them for getting swept, 2 of those 4 games were decided by 1 point.

    • @abduugas
      @abduugas 4 года назад

      Jean-Patrice Paluku Uhm, wrong. Jordan and Kawhi have got the numbers as well, which is all LeBron had in the 2018 season. And Kevin Love was an All Star, so better than the 07 Cavs team (which were a defensive juggernaut in their own right). Moreover, the strength of opponents LeBron had to go through is a far cry compared to Kawhi and Dirk’s.
      I’m not diminishing anything, just stating the facts. People love to praise LeBron but don’t look at the context. He played weak competition. That’s all.
      Bucks and Sixers aren’t unproven, they’re proven. They proved it in the postseason... You’re overhyping LeBron’s run.

His iconic buzzer was incredible and changed the story of the run. He also slowed down and was a key factor stopping the mvp in giannis which brought us to our first finals. Espn still thought the warriors would win but Kawhi and the raptors had all the momentum and could've easily swept the injured warriors team. He did this all and had the stats to prove it. Lebrun had the best without question, kawhi's teammates were on anther star system to lebron's. I love kawhi, but I think he gets too much credit for that run. A historic run deifneitnley, but I think if you replace him with a Lebrun or a dirk in those series you get blowout wins, because the raptors had ridiculous defense and good supporting pieces. Between Kyle Lowry, Mark gasoline, siakam, and van fleet, along with kawhi, you could argue they had 4 all star caliber player on their starting 5. meanwhile, Lebrun had an over the mountain Kevin love, and non 2015 Kyle korver. They didn't even have good defense like the raptors, and they had inferior team offense. Lebrun literally was the 2018 cavs, and I think that team making it to the finals should be compared with Allen inversion's 2001 76rs.

  • @DaMonstaMasta
    @DaMonstaMasta 4 года назад +1

    My ranking would be
    1. Dirk
    2. LeBron
    3. Kahwi
    1. Dirk's run was still in a lower scoring, lower paced era and still sweeping the Lakers, Beating the Thunder, and then Beating the Favorites Heat. No one expected that AT ALL. No commentators or anybody.
    2. LeBron's is the most impressive individually, he activated basically all of his super powers. I mean he had a game winning block and shot vs the tough Pacers that some people thought would beat the Cavs because they were a good defensive team. Then absolutely tore the heart out of Toronto with game winning shots, they put basically every defender they could on LeBron and now owns the Raptors as the Lebronto Raptors. That series I remember Kevin Love's big game and Tristan played good too. Then the biggest to me was LeBron beating the Celtics who were I think undeafted at home during the playoffs, young and juiced team that JUST BEAT GIANNIS BUCKS in the series prior in like 5 or 6 games. People dont remember that this would of been the Finals Celtics team that beat the Sixers and Bucks if they get past LeBron, just like Kahwi and the Raptors were. And LeBron still pulls it out in 7 games with Daggers in Jayson Taytum's face in game 6 and Pulling it out with big plays in Game 7. Then the 49-51pts vs the Warriors where it seemed like the refs and everybody were against the Cavs and they should of won game 1.
    3. Kahwi's run was amazing dont get me wrong but everybody doesn't mention little tid bits in the run. The 1st round was a yawner vs the Magic, The 2nd Round vs the Sixers JOEL EMBIID missed like 2 games because of being Sick or sore I don't think they expected to lose to the Raptors honestly. The series except for the game 7 game winner wasn't that entertaining it was nice to see Jimmy vs Kahwi but other than that, Simmons under performed not having a jumper, Embiid didn't play every game, Jimmy was good but new to the team they were still meshing, Tobias was ok. But still a good win by the Raptors and great series by Kawhi. The 3rd round vs the Bucks, they literally were about to lose until they put Kahwi on Giannis AND they just created a wall in the paint and forced the others to beat them. Eric Bledsoe played horrible, Coach Bud should of just stuck with George Hill, Brook Lopez was cold until the later games, and Giannis couldn't hit anything outside the Paint. Fred Vanvleet started getting Hot, Siakam was good as well. Then the Finals, Kahwi plays against basically the OG Warriors without the great bench, or Kevin Durant. Siakam took over game 1, Fred had a great series, Kyle mfn LOWRY started killin it, Serge played great, Marc Gasol played good along with Kahwi so it wasn't like Kahwi's dominance took over the series that was a whole team winning series with Kahwi propelling them. BUT STILL THEY ALMOST LOST TO THE WARRIORS before Klay went down in game 6. If Klay doesn't go down I think they win Game 6 and IDK if the raptors as a team is ready for the Warriors in ORACLE for game 7 championship but they did handle them in oracle in game 4 or 5.
    But keepin it simple, NO ONE expected Dirk's run, LeBron's individually was the most impressive imo even with the finals loss, Kahwi's was almost as impressive as LeBron's but the Raptors weren't as unexpected and his team played great along side him in the later rounds so I have to rate it 3rd. I think the suprisingness in the 1st game 7 game winner and that the Raptors actually winning a championship helps him out.

    I'd go with Dirk, Kawhi and LeBron.
    Dirk is #1 because nobody expect Mavs to win. Not only that but he got redemption. Nobody talks about him getting his loss back in 2006. He finally got rid of his choker label.
    Kawhi is #2 because he brought a championship to a franchise that has never tasted gold. His stats are historic and the Raptors run was amazing. However, people including Dom in this video(still love you bro) discredit how good this supporting cast was. The only team that beat the Raptors in the playoffs since 2016 were the Cavs and that still stands today. LeBron always had their number. Kawhi's Raptors cast were much better than Dirk's Mavericks.
    LeBron's run is #3 because as good as his run was it just showed you how weak the East was. It's also not resulted with a championship. It was amazing how he took down the Raps but LeBron were always in their heads. Stats wise is better than anything I've seen since Jordan. Amazing but that lack of title really hurts him.

    1. Dirk
    2. LeBron
    3. Kawhi
    Dirk had the highest difficulty. He had to face Kobe's Lakers, the big three Thunder, and the Big Three Heat.
    LeBron did the most amount of carrying with the least help and statistically, was easily. I cant put it above Dirk because the 2018 East was 10x weaker than the 2011 West and Dirk actually won while LeBron got swept. Yea, nobody expected the Cavs to win, but nobody expected the Mavs to either.
    Kawhi had a very good supporting cast of Lowry, Siakam, Gasol, VanVleet, Ibaka, and Danny Green. His supporting cast is far better than either of the other 2. Plus, LeBron was the best player on the floor in the Finals for 2/4 gamest. Dirk was the best player for Games 2, 4, 5, and 6. Kawhi was the best player for maybe 2/6 games. Game 1 was either Curry or Siakam. Game 2 was Kawhi. Game 3 was Curry. Game 4 was Kawhi. Game 5 was Curry. Game 6 was Klay.

Dirks team had very sneaky talent, and a LOT of role playing greatness without a costar. But, they had no business beating the Lakers or Miami. Kawhi...he played great, like he KILLED IT. But when it comes to the actual finals that was basically the Warriors 2014 chip.

    gotta be Dirk. He beat everyone's relatively healthy full rosters without a defined co-star, add in the game 4 fever game too. And him obliteratong the "soft" "choker" narrative, i gotta give it to that 2011 mavs run. and he swept the fully healthy defending champs which was insane.
    No doubt Kawhi's is a close second though, people clowned the bucks + giannis for his flaws now, but that year everyone thought he was going to the finals. And the bucks dismantled the celtics after the whole "its over" prediction from paul pierce, only for Kawhi+the raptors to expose him. the game 7 winner added to the lore of the run too + kawhi taking a franchise to the promised land after years of underperforming vs lebron.
    The 2011 heat is a much harder opponent then the injured 2019 GSW imo. overall i think dirks is the best run.

    I choose LeBron because if he was in the same situation as Kawhi, he would have the series too. In the finals, Kawhi had help, both defensively and offensively and on top of that No KD, No Klay basically, injured Kevin Looney, recovering Demarcus Cousins. Bron would have won that in 2018 especially with the help of guys like Vanvleet, Siakam and Ibaka

  • @za5528

    2019 Finals was even more impressive than he gets credit for. Of course the Warriors with KD would have won no question because they would have beat any team in history, but people talk the Warriors only had Steph and bums for the entire Finals. Cousins (while clearly unfit) played every game, Looney played 4 games, Klay only missed Game 3 and part of Game 6, Anunoby (the Raptors' 2nd best defender) missed the whole playoffs, Lowry had a broken finger, the same Warriors team without KD or Cousins swept the Rockets after KD's injury and swept the Blazers. Draymond had been amazing the whole West playoffs. Almost everyone had them as favorites going into the Finals. Toronto won 19 of the 24 quarters those Finals even including when everyone but KD was healthy
    They were a better team than the Bucks that year overall tbh. Only won 2 less games while Lowry missed 17 of the games Kawhi played (and Kawhi missed another 20) so they won 58 games while having one of their two All-Stars out for half of the entire regular season. But Kawhi carried them against the Sixers when their size completely shut down the rest of the team, changed the Bucks series, and even the crippled Warriors were still good enough for Toronto to need him to dominate
