In 2k16 Park all you had to do was spam the 2 Jamal Crawford moves and you’d eventually get an ankle breaker. Also in that game I remember you could just run with the ball to the corner and shoot it and the game wouldn’t register a contest and it could just go in every time if your rating was high enough.
Yo Dom i played that dude qpat88 back in 2k17 he been doing that crap for years, im surprised he played with the Lakers, everytime i played him he had the Jazz r the Buck.

Oh man. It all comes back now. This was basically my most played 2k. NBA 2K14. Defenses were centered around back-court charge attempts and offences were all about using players with a posterizer badge zig-zagging and dunking on people with unstoppable posterizing animations. For some reason a lot of players forgot that one. The posterizer cheese. That was so annoying because guys like young Kobe (/Frobe) was 10000 times more valuable than guys like CP3 even if CP3 was much higher rated, because he was not a dunker.
2k13 Unmissable stepback jumpers. 2k14 Zig zag cheese 2k15 Demi Gods 2k16 Jamal Crawford behind the back, and the step back into the cross over from left to right on the park.
In 2k13, I remember players like Gerald Henderson being gods from mid range. I would hand them the ball, they would dibble and then pull up for a mid-range shot that never missed.
Y’all don’t know anything about ‘ cheese’ until u played a high rollers player in 15 who knew how to do the real speed boosts out of every move. Y’all don’t know about losing 20k vc to tryhards
In 2k13 (at least for me) in MyCareer sometimes before a clutch shot in the final seconds we would have an inbound pass and the players just wouldn't throw it in. And this happened many times.
2k13 when you bring the ball up and the opposing team is doing a full court press and you literally get pushed out of bounds and it's a turnover on you every single time. 🤦🏾♂️👎🏾
Finally this video was made. People like to forget the bs that was in past 2k’s. Spin moves in 2k13 took the least skill but that game was fun, snatch backs in 2k18 were also no skill moves but that game had even less fun factor
Jay Waz I like how the past 2K’s have been so bad, that people are now looking back at 2K17 (a game that when it was released, was “the worst 2K ever” according to players), and PRAISING it. Let’s hope NBA2K 17.3: Sweat Edition turns out alright....
what about on 2k10 when u uninstalled the update, u can have unlimited sp by goin to edit player flickin the right stick and pickin a drill over and over again
2k18 on Ps3 was exactly like that too. On the third drill, once it's over, you can repeatedly tap the square button. The longer you spam it, the more VC/SP you get. It was cheesy asf for me. I used to walk up in my very first Mycareer game as a 97-99 Overall.
You know what pisses me off about 2k 19 is when you're driving for a layup and it makes you pull up for a jump shot right next to the round and messes up the whole rhythm and you end up missing
There was this one really simple exploit that I remember finding out about in singleplayer 2K14 on PC Pretty much whenever the cpu was inbounding the ball under the basket you could play good defense on their PG and force a pass to their two guard who would always try to pass to their PG once they cross half court and it would result in some incredibly easy steals I would always rack up 15-20 steals a game
I remember from 2k11 you could do an injury pass like it was nothing, in 2k13 you could dunk over everybody and the opponent wouldn't be able to do anything about it (which made Robert Pack god in my team) and the infamous 1-3-1 zone.
J N S bro don’t forget the fact that i was using a 7’3 rim protector with like 42 speed with ball rating, also hall of fame AI be playing better defense than most of these fools at the park, niggas can’t get a stop on D to save their lives
I feel attacked personally. I hadn't played an NBA game since the last time NBA Live had the goofy dunk contest. I picked up 18, played as a slasher in offline, and was having a ton of fun. Had no clue how to run plays. Had no clue how to variate an offense. So when 2k19 came out and I was stone walled, I raged and quit playing. Now I know why I was doing so well without actually knowing how to play.
Idk if this counts as cheese or exploit but u could make a 7’3” point guard with all max badges on 2k15 it was called the demigod glitch. Pretty much your player could be as fast as a 5’7” pg but as tall as a center by unplugging an ethernet cable when making a custom character on offline then u could transfer the character to my career and pretty much destroy everyone on park
2k12 hesi-crossover move was cheesy af because the CPU on defense literally always reached 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and you could goad your matchup into taking a shot in your face for a block by just taking a step backwards when they were under 10 seconds on the shot clock.
Getting contact at half court and the defender holding the B button (Xbox) to take a moving charge in 2k11. Once you got into the animation you couldn’t dribble or pass out of it it was an instant turnover.
@@4pm462 Nah, it's not unstoppable at all and you don't have to cheese either. I can't stop every cheese move but I can definetely decrease its success and still win the game
Dom I swear great minds think alike💀 I knew that 2K16 and an 19 Domination (other single player) had OP post-ups. I swear that's what I do. Even on court conquerers this year.
2k14 and 19: post spin 2k10: moving crossover on the cpu, they could not simply guard it. I remember scoring 150p in mycareer with 6’1” pg on mycareer with a single move. 2k19: momentum crossover or behind the back with a player with a cheese animation (Giannis etc.) literally the only way to stop it is to draw a charge and the opponent needed to be braindead and keep spamming it. 2k19 and 17: transition threes. In 2k17 all you needed to do was if the center inbounded the ball after your opponent scored you had to wait for him to jog up the court and he was 99% of the time wide open at the 3pt line on top of the key. In 2k19 its the shooting guard and especially if he has hof limitless he could get open threes every possession if not guarded manually or by pressing. 2k13: full court passes. If the rebounder had the break starter badge or whatever they were called, he would make EVERY SINGLE pass right on the dot if there was a player leaking out under the other basket. And i literally mean every single time. I guess thats enough for part 2 :)
One of the those most irritating things is that CPU defense on a 2v2 fast break situation, he always goes straight towards under the basket instead of guarding his man on the corner 3 or wing. It’s like they have 0 IQ when that doesn’t ever really happen in real life.
I remember in 2k17 I found out about a stutter dribble. Pretty much you button mash RT while moving up and you player starts levitating/hopping with the ball. The defender can't steal the ball off you and it led to people not playing me on 2k :)
I remember in 2k13 when you could make the cpu run into you and catch a charging foul. You’d do it after scoring, take a player down the court and just take the “take a charge” position in front of one of the cpu players. More likely than not they’d run into you and turn the ball over.
stuff they need to add in 2k20 * if a player has high iq make like a line or a spot so the user could know who pass it too, shoot, or help defense (depending on the nba players iq) * custom sizeups * custom dunks * bring back affiliations * take out the stupid stamina system * remove archetypes from setting up the ovr and change it to badges and rank down the ovr based on the players height, wingspan, weight, shoulder-width, and position * bring back killer crossover * (if they keep the archetypes system the same) u dont have to add a third archetype just a add like a "second focus"action, like if wanna shoot threes and break ankles your "second focus" could be defense, rebounding or even slashing edit: forgot to mention they should add a badge to stop being ankled, something like "ankle braclets" or "clamps"
I honestly had no trouble guarding blow bys in 2K18. Why was this such an issue for people? All you had to do was repeatedly click B/○ (spaced out so you dont accidentally flop) to prevent someone from getting passed you. You can speedboost on defense with this back in 2K17 and 2K16. Doesn't work in 2K18 and 19 because defense is less slidey, but it still helps against zig zag players, moving through screens and even gets me charges.
Remember not too long ago in 16 the step back moves? Dudes would spam that step back shot fake and then just blow by you. And then offline in MyCareer all you had to do was a spin move. Either spin off a screen or run to the middle of the court and then spin to the basket. It was like the CPU defense didn’t know how to move their feet 😂😂
I feel bad for doing constant free throw line post-ups offline now. Also I hate when late game teams start doubling the guy with the most points in a tight game as soon as they get past half court because it's too easy to rack up 15+ assists of you just look at the matchups before you get past half court.

* if a player has high iq make like a line or a spot so the user could know who pass it too, shoot, or help defense
(depending on the nba players iq)
* custom sizeups
* custom dunks
* bring back affiliations
* take out the stupid stamina system
* remove archetypes from setting up the ovr and change it to badges and rank down the ovr based on the players height, wingspan, weight, shoulder-width, and position
* bring back killer crossover
* (if they keep the archetypes system the same) u dont have to add a third archetype just a add like a "second focus"action, like if wanna shoot threes and break ankles your "second focus" could be defense, rebounding or even slashing
edit: forgot to mention they should add a badge to stop being ankled, something like "ankle braclets" or "clamps"
Why rondo look like he smoked McDonalds in the thumbnail
5:19 that shot meter had me confused as fuck thinking it’s a different game when it just pc😂😂
Ayo that spin dunk was lethal in 2k11 especially with Blake griffin 💀💀💀
Until this day, I still own 2k14. The speed in that game is just phenomenal and a gem of a game 💎💯
NBA 2k14 is the GOAT 🐐 in this era
Speed and size advantage thing just kinda sounded like he outsmarted you
Loving the super creative 2k content 💪🏾
I feel bad for doing constant free throw line post-ups offline now. Also I hate when late game teams start doubling the guy with the most points in a tight game as soon as they get past half court because it's too easy to rack up 15+ assists of you just look at the matchups before you get past half court.
The 100 dunk tendancy from 2k18. If your player had that with an above average dunk rating it was very hard to stop.
2K19 was my first 2k and holy shit I literally could not get over how hard it was to do a layup/get by the defense. It makes so much sense now.
