2017 Celtics vs Wizards is slept on. 7 games and Isaiah dropped 53 after his sister died
JTH I thought he was going to pick the best series from every year, and for 2017, wizards/Celtics was definitely my pick
JTH also john wall had a great shooting performance and hit a clutch game winner i believe in game 6 on his home court. great series from 2 great teams
And John wall dropped about 26 and 12 a game with the first win or go home game winner since ray Allen! Only to follow it up with a 0-7 4th qtr after giving the wizards a decent lead in the 3rd of game 7!! That was a battle and the difference in the series was the Celtics bench!!( if you don’t believe me check the stats for wizards VS celtics starters and bench VS bench..44-5 in favor of celtics just in game 7!)
JTH as a wizards fan that series was a great watch always will remember it. Too bad our bench was ass lmao.
There was so much more to that series too that year the Celtics and wizards genuinely hated eachother there was the Kelly Oubre thing Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics players wearing black to game 6 bec they thought it was the wizards funeral. It’s just a series I’ll never forget

unpopular opinion: Cavs vs Pacers 1st round of the 2018 playoffs was actually lit and pretty underrated, 5/7 games were decided by less than 5 points, the iconic lebron buzzer beater, Oladipo coming up huge, a great series overall.

That was actually the first time that lebron and the cavs were so close on being eliminated in the 1st round. Hadn't that block or missed goaltend call didn't happen and that game clinching 3, they would be down 3-2 going to indiana the following game, which they would most likely won that game and end the series. That series actually is better than 2010 ecsf where after game 4, it's pretty much decided on who's going to win.

I think the 2014 western conference 1st round memphis vs okc should be on this list. 4 straight overtimes, kd's amazing 4 point play, and it went to 7 games with most of them being close. One of the most underrated series in this decade

The 2017 ECSF Celtics vs. Wizards series is an underrated series. Not only was it a great series to watch, but it had an amazing storyline from IT's 50 point game on his late sister's birthday to John Wall's game 6 daggers home to bring the series to 7 games after the Celtics arrived at the stadium in black, saying that it was the Wizards' funeral.
Bulls vs Cavs 2015 two game winners in back-back games in Chicago by Rose and Lebron and Lue saving the Cavs from going 3-1 down by stopping Blatt from getting a Tech by calling a timeout he didn’t have that series was great

I agree with everything except I think the 2019 warriors rockets should be on here. It’s the only series in NBA history that had 6 or more games where every game was decided by 6 points or less. It was one of the closest series in NBA history, Dom even made a video on how many legacies were on the line and in the last two games we had no idea who was gonna win the series.

Those series were great. If you think about it, if the Rockets and Nuggets just executed against the Warriors and Blazers respectively, we could have had Rockets Nuggets WCF in 2019 but I felt both teams choked.

I would rank the OKC-GS series #1 because of the impact. This was the true battle for the Western Conference. Not to mention that GS came back from a 3-1 deficit. This series also had a major impact on the NBA landscape. It allowed for the best player in the West (Durant) to unite with the best team in the west (GS).

@Beatsro Broly 23 In my opinion, I felt if both the Rockets had Luc Mbah a Moute and Chris Paul and the Warriors had Iggy, I felt the Rockets would have beat the Warriors that year. Houston was 6th ranked defensively and their offensive was explosive. I say if both teams were healthy. I say Rockets in 7 games. Chris Paul was too hungry to lose that year. It sucks that he blew his hamstring out.

I thought the Rockets had the depth, balance, defense to give the Warriors problems. I know the Warriors won by 41 with Iggy but they lost by 22 with him . Warriors had more talent but the Rockets had more depth and were mentally tougher. I say it could have been the best series of the 2010s if both teams were healthy for a game 7. I say if both teams were healthy, I think the Rockets would have done the impossible and upset the Warriors. Remember, Rockets led by 17 in game 6 and 15 in game 7. I think if Chris Paul plays in game 7 at least, Rockets are in the NBA Finals.
@Beatsro Broly 23 Exactly. I felt they should have drove to the rim instead of just jacking up threes. If they done that or just shoot better from downtown, Rockets would have made the NBA Finals. I don't think the 2018 Cavs were bad but they were inconsistent. If we had Cavs Rockets, it could have been a 6-7 game series.
@Beatsro Broly 23 I agree. Love was a beast in Minnesota and was decent in the playoffs. JR, Thompson, Clarkson, Green, Hood, and Hill would have stepped up too. Love did average a double double vs Warriors so I think he would have dominated in the NBA Finals if the Cavs and Rockets meet.

2014 Western Conference 1st round playoff series. Three of the four series went to game 7’s (Mavs vs Spurs, Warriors vs Clippers and Grizzlies vs Thunder) and the one series didn’t go seven was the series ending (his first one) from Damian Lillard in the Rockets vs Blazers series in game 6. If Lillard misses that shot, all four first round matchups from the west in 2014 go seven. This was also around the time where Donald Sterling’s racist tape came out!!!
