    Really fun content - last year we had a cross country trip from Batumi to Tbilisi and drove all across this small country. Had a great memory at Kazbeki and Gelati church. The grape soft serve is delicious. Enjoy!❤❤❤

      Thanks for sharing those memories with us 🙌 That cross country trip had to be stunning in every way. While we didn't make it to these destinations, they look BEAUTIFUL and something we would love to do in the future. And grape soft serve? That sounds like something we can get on board with 😃

    Thank you for your good, interesting work.
    Also, just in case, some historical facts, In this regard, the latest historical / archival / written data revealed that Georgians, Georgian church, Georgian rulers, well-known representatives of Georgian society for centuries tried to maintain church unity. The Georgian side, the Georgian Church did not participate in that church division of the 11th century and recognized the Pope and had mutually positive relations with the Pope of Rome, and the church division and the corresponding formation of Christians into Orthodox and Catholics took place much later due to tragic external historical events, factors, accordingly, the formation of the current type of Georgian Orthodox Church occurred only about two and a half centuries ago, and in subsequent times there were much more Georgian Catholics than now, whose role in the history of Georgians, Georgia, in Georgian culture, science, education and other areas is also fundamentally positively significant in a place with Georgian Orthodox..
    There are also Georgian Catholic churches in Tbilisi, Batumi and other cities, regions and places in Georgia. Also, some other Georgian Catholic churches that were able to escape from the destruction of the Soviet Bolsheviks should be returned to the Georgian Catholics. For example, Georgian Catholic Church of the City of Batumi, which was built with the financing of the famous Georgian Catholic brothers Zubalashvili at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century and other Georgian Catholic churches...
    Sincerely, Alex

    You should sit in hot bath 20 mn and then rinse your self with cold water. It's bad idea to walk from one pool to another. And after your skin will be soft enough from hot sulfur, then you need qisa.

    That's weird! You haven't been to world famous Hammam where actually all this steam & scrubbing has started but going to a steamer in Georgia. Georgia offers many good things but not with bath.

    Loved it 👍 by the way not Greek Orthodox Church, it’s Georgian Orthodox Church, first it was under Antioch patriarchy and after V-th century, since 466 Ad it is autocephalous and has it’s own patriarch, even architecture of Georgian Churches are completely different to any other churches, with grape ornaments on it’s outer walls if you take a closer look 👌

    Why are the dogs ears tagged?

    • @ThePassportCouple
      @ThePassportCouple  2 месяца назад +1

      We’ve seen this in numerous countries, but this is how they track stray dogs. Sometimes this means they provide them with basic medical care as well but it depends on the country.

    • @chaoticCricket
      @chaoticCricket 2 месяца назад +2

      stray dogs that have their ears tagged have been vaccinated (and male ones neutered) meaning they are safe to be around as they’re unlikely to have rabies, they tend to be really affectionate so people love taking care of them, they’re often more like communally owned dogs than actual strays
