@@christopherjones7198 I respect your choice but i said that the first years too. Until i bought a 34 inch, for me, much better, i will never go back to a 27 inch. :).
@sony Will you be adding the following features via a firmware update? 1. Taskbar detection 2. Auto logo detection 3. Outer Dimming Control 4. Local Dimming Control 5. Pixel Cleaning 6. Pixel Cleaning Reminder Notification 7. Auto logo Brightness
I’ll wait for a 4k version, this generation is weird, when the ps5 first came out, trying to brag about 8k but games hardly run on 4k but yet later on had an update for 1440p , it’s like they know they are inconsistent with what they promise so they just keep going back to lower resolution and just try to promote the lesser, i miss the old days when games just worked and no bs, the whole game was on the disc or cartridge, heck even old CRT tvs didn’t lag😅
Every manufacturer has Burn In warranty, why not Sony? Display Port 2.1 is misleading marketing your specs are DisplayPort x1 (Ver. 2.1 UHBR10) so only 40Gbps(the cheapest a lowest spec you can get away with), this screen needs to have UHBR20 to support the resolution and frame-rate without compression. This should be more clear in your marketing material.
@X0RK3 the dp has different classes. And this monitor has one if the lower classes so that it still need DSC for 480hz . Like the commend above just sayed. Because u need dsc alt-Tabbing out of a game takes seconds more than usual.
I got mine for $799 USD from direct playstation website, IMO that's an insane deal for 480hz oled 1440p since alot of the 240hz 1440p oled's out right now are a similar price
27 is perfect

@@TeeXxXsthe comparable monitors from other brands like Asus use DP1.4 which also require DSC, so you won’t notice a difference in functionality!
@callouu3601 ik ik just repeated it
More then other brands and no burn in warranty is just down right embarrassing
not as embarrassing as not knowing the difference between then and than
Does Samsung have no burn in warranty on their OLEDs?
34 ultrawide or bigger
i prefer to game 32"
Yeah! At least 32”, 27” are too small..
@@marcusbengtsson295 im out here thinking 27 is too big. Sitting at a desk I feel like im overwhelmed by a 27 inch.
@@TestingHardwareHD i game on a 42 inch lg c2 oled, and its just amazing
@@mghz01 you doing PlayStation, and not pc.

32' and it gets interesting
Sure - 1440p on a 32'' looks like rice mosaic LOL
I feel that 32 inch is bad for FPS games and other games might be good.
