Love the diorama Not only from the artistic standpoint But a psychological one, Puts in perspective the reality of warfare Don't get me wrong, the space marine stuff is a bit of fun- But the imperial guardsman( the Cadians in particular) are what got me into WH40K
Thank you dude, glad you like it! And absolutely the same for me, super-human armoured tank space marines are pretty cool, but the ordinary men and women fighting in that same universe against all that crazy stuff, are just so much more interesting imo
Lovely diorama. Everything looks great except the standing guys eyes. One tip is to not go full white or black. Just use a flesh tone + white and black to desaturate. Looks way more natural. And of course, try not to paint them too big. It’s tricky though but definitely worth it. Keep up the great work.
That was kinda cool!?! I mean what you built was awesome!!! And they were definitely dirty lol I alike seeing these videos because I’m partly done with my Cadia diorama!?! But each piece/section is way bigger than what you built here….. And there’s going to be 6 pieces/sections! Ugh I know…… I’m over my head lol I just started my 3rd piece/section! I wish I could show you and see what you think and also if you wanted to know how I did anything I could also tell you!?! But it’s all good either way!?!
The "Forbidden Cake Mix" does indeed look rather tasty. If I'm honest with you, it wouldn't be the first time I've eaten glue... Regardless, damn fine work, mate!
Looks great. I'd recommend using matt varnish wherever you can. Nature isn't very satin and this might help provide a bit more realism and contrast between the deliberate wet/damp sections and others which are more exposed.
Genuinely, the knife in the sandbag I thought was the actual model from the heavy weapons team kit. The old kit, or atleast the Brood Brothers box I got came with it, has a sandbag with a knife stuck in it. So that's cool.
Hahaha I did definitely borrow their idea for that piece to be fair, but glad that it looks so similar, shows you what you can easily do at home! And thanks for watching dude
bouta do a ogryn kitbash to make them into super mutants. you got any advice or ideas of bits that might work? its my second proper kitbash so im just asking.
Hey dude, sorry I only just saw this somehow, what did you end up using? Have a look at some of the age of Sigmar orruks if you haven’t already, there’s some potential there for good super mutant-like pieces!
@@SwampRatMiniatures ended up using the necromunda ogryn kit. A bunch of spare Ork bits. And I'm going back In later to them up with other ogryn bits because I lost those pieces when actually doing the kitbash.
0:48- Do you have a 3D printer? There are a lot of good files that are available nowadays!!! And even if you don’t, you could pay a bit more for someone to print it for you (that obviously has permission)!

Those sandwich bag ties are so clever. I’ve never seen any other creator do that. Awesome work.

As an American we absolutely do not call it Paper Roll, we call them paper towels. Couldnt let that one go

It’s a shame it’s the old model Chadians making it look less realistic
Each to their own I suppose, I much prefer the older models they have a really classic sci fi look, like they’re from starship troopers or something!
