    I cut the elastic to 45 cm, but it was 2 tight 4 me, so I made it 50 cm. It's easy to make. Btw, I'm 17. I've been selling them ever since I was 14. It's a small business, but it's booming 😂

    Hi! I would like to know fabric and elastic measurements for 2 year old girl baby (satin bonnet)

    • @LongTimeNoSew
      @LongTimeNoSew  2 года назад +1

      Hi! 😊 For a 2-year-old baby girl, I would cut the fabric with a circumference of 46 cm and use an elastic of 39 cm.
      But I strongly recommend you to measure the head circumference of your baby since these measurements are average numbers. To do so, you can take a sewing measurement tape or even a string, and wrap around above the ears and across the eyebrows of your baby 😉.

      Hello! Thank you for your sweet comment and welcome to my channel 😃
      I buy my fabrics from a wholesale fabric store most of the time. So I take advantage of this to get as much fabric as possible. If you have the opportunity to do so, I recommend it! Otherwise, if you want to know how many yards of fabric to buy to make this satin bonnet in particular, I advise you to take at least 1,5 yard in length and width (you'll have some fabric left over to make something else).
