This is such a great video. You do explain and show it all clearly. I recently decided to try a bonnet fir sleeping. I have wavy curly hair and am trying to grow it out. It leans towards dry and breaks, and I wake up with a ratty lion's mane. I bought a cheap one to try and couldn't believe how shiny my hair was in the morning. Sold!! 😄 Plus, I wasn't waking up to my own hair wrapped around my face or throat. 😂 I've been looking for a a nicer one, but naturally they're made for women with thicker hair than I have, so the head band fits, but the bonnet is too full for me and hangs in the back. I'm excited to be able to make one to fit for myself. Thanks for posting this!

Yes "stretchy" fabric...but there are all types of compositions of stretchy fabric. That is why I asked what type of fabric? Meaning for example knit fabric, athletic fabric, a Lycra etc. What is the % of stretch do you need so that it isn't falling off of your head due to the weight of your hair? Is there a specific fabric you would "recommend"???

Also, as I'm sewing it doesn't catch the back side sometimes. I typically go back and handsew what I missed, but it's so much work. Any suggestions? I'm not a pro like you but I'm pretty good at sewing.
