Hi, is the stretch band material a spandex polyester mix or a jersey polyester mix & won't it harm the little girls edges?
Hi, it's a jersey polyster and it's not harmful at all

I used butterfly sewing machine but with orange needle no 21, and I didn't remove the line but hid it inside before the final seam.

Use a tape measure & draw semi circle. There are lots of Utube tutorials on how to measure & draw semi circle using measuring tape.

Kids head circumference varies, measure the child the way you use to tie her scarf for church.
