I struggled with the A pillar teather clip like you and caved after 10 minutes. Dikes came out and new one installed. I guess Hyundai new best when they include it in the kit. You could just push the wire in but I wanted no chance of the wire blocking the air bags deployment path and made sure it was behind it and zip tied. This was on a 23 Elantra W/Conv. Pkg. Keep up the great work ethics...

It didn't work for me. The mirror doesn't power up. Any suggestions how to troubleshoot it, to see if the issue is with the mirror or the wiring?
Did this mirror have a compass? Didn't see it light up if so.
