    I think being a Bush Pilot is one of the most admirable professions in aviation. Airline pilots never experience life as you do. You are doing what you love but at the same time helping people who have very little contact with the outside world. You are also doing the will of God, our creator by helping humanity! Blessings always , “ Ryan”! Love your videos! ❤

      Here is Christ's question
      Mathew 15: 3: "But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?"
      A women say "the Husband has no name". Another ones say "the Husband has many names". Some of women "love the Husband in all his manifestations" like: neighbour, taxi driver, boss...
      But, all of those prostitutes say "the Husband is the only".
      Then they even talk about "trinity of the Husband" and they are not against "the Son taking the Husband's place".
      In the same way religious prostitutes try to hide their disgusting fornication with different gods.
      Here is the God's word spoken through Moses,
      Deuteronomy 11: 16-17: "Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you."
      So, the God says there are other gods, but blind leaders of blind lead people into trap.
      "Jesus" means "Jehovah is salvation". This is the name of Christ real christians are hated for.
      "HalleluJah" means "Praze Jah" (Jehovah).
      Psalm 83: 18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."
      The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. This is the reason why liers feel so good while righteous people are persecuted.
      That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom.
      Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)

    I lived for a decade in El Paso and spent quite a bit of time exploring the desert SW areas of NM and AZ in 4WD vehicles. It was such a joy using BLM land for citizens' recreation. The one thing I didn't realize until you began your AZ adventures was how many isolated (and seemingly random) dirt airstrips there were in these areas. CRAZY!

If not there’s an airport 3 miles away, well thanks for showing how you become a bush pilot. Have a good 👍 one see ya next time see ya bye Ryan.

    Never would've thought training for missions in jungle terrain would occur in the Arizona desert. Put trees and bushes in and around those short strips and it becomes very challenging.
    Thanks Ryan for bringing us along on your bush flying. Wish you well on your next PNG rotation.

    In New Zealand we call this strip flying. There are quite a few agricultural strips mainly used for aerial fertilising operations. Once I was a part owner of a 90HP Cub, no flaps. This aircraft was a great teaching tool to me as a pilot. Fun part was learning and being proficient in strip flying. I did over 500 hours on Cubs before progressing to DH-2C. Have fun and enjoy the flying with it. Every sortie is a learning experience. and therein is the fun and getting way more skills as a pilot.

      I feel so fortunate that I get to do strip flying with the club I am learning at. I've lost count of the number of times I've had an instructor say I want to see you practice that glide approach somewhere different, there is a strip near here let's go land at it so you can take it all the way to the ground and not just to 500'. There are so many unpublished strips near the airport I fly out of.

      I learned to fly in Switzerland: defo NO off-airfield strips there! When I flew in NZ out of CHC, I was amazed at having to track up a windy braid at 100' AGL on the Waimakariri to practice skud-running, just in case I encountered low cloud over the plains ... ! There's no training like that in CH!

    The hardest part of the wheel landing is pushing the nose over on landing. I couldn't get past the mental block and an old guy showed me by grasping the tail and we lifted it over our head the prop was still about a foot from the ground. He said you'll never get the tail that high unless you hit the brakes. I tried it and did wheel landing every time after that. It was a Taylorcraft.

    • @robertgregory8936
      @robertgregory8936 Год назад

      Low-time pilot here… I’m wondering how that works, pushing the nose over on landing…is that for aerodynamic braking combined with pushing the plane onto the ground?

    • @sgs1262
      @sgs1262 Год назад +1

      @@robertgregory8936 It's to keep the tail up for more control if you have a crosswind. The three-point is good but sometimes a little squirrely if you have a crosswind. It also helps keep you on the ground and not bounce if you land a little fast. Just my experience and it helped me get past that mental block of pushing the nose down. Definitely keep your feet off the brakes until the planes at a walking pace. I'm not giving advice other than the mental block part do what the instructor says.

    Great flying is about simplistic, clear control. So, if you think about a permutation (!), every step you remove you greatly simplify things. For instance, if you have 3 things to do, there are 6 ways to do 3 things (3 X 2 X 1= 6). IF you can remove one thing, you reduce complexity by 66%! (2 X 1= 2).
    This IS an amazing math illustration that shows you the importance of simplifying what you NEED to do when flying, so that you have MORE TIME to think, capture mistakes, and adjust.
    ALWAYS think this way...simplify your steps!
