I love the Amsterdam paints. I can't believe how inexpensive they are for the quality. I really enjoy everything from Royal talens from their water mixable oils, to watercolor to their sketchbooks. I like it all. I should be a paid spokesperson lol. Much ❤️ from Nashville TN USA 🇺🇸 😎

Amsterdam paints are widely available and well-priced in Portugal, too. I have been using them for grid journaling backgrounds on Canson mixed media paper. I like the paints but find them to be a bit shiny and it's sometimes difficult to use Luminance pencils on top. I have better luck with Intense pencils for mark-making on top of acrylic. But I'll be looking for the Flashe paints next time I need to restock! ;-) If you see Maimeri brand acrylics, they are worth trying. They seem to be less glossy.
Yes I agree, they are not ideal for pencils although I have found some colors work better than others. Thanks for sharing!
Love Hahnemuhle paper! Try clear gesso over the top of these to make mark making possible….Hahnemuele has a beautiful video on their you tube on the history of their paper really a joy to see ……prayers for Israel! Heartbreaking Thx for reviewing these…..love all these colors white mixing is always fun!
I currently have Castle Arts and some Liquidtex paints. Might get this when I'm out of Castlearts

Great selection of colors! I don’t do much in acrylics but the colors would be great with any medium. I’ve seen the Amsterdam brand in a lot of art supply stores so it’s easy to get in US and is a more affordable choice here too.

Thank you for this video! I love Amsterdam paints and actually prefer them to Liquitex Basics ❤️ The Amsterdam colors are gorgeous and I love that they make some of the same colors in their acrylic inks!!! Especially some of the pinks 🌸 Thank you for your content! I love your channel ❤️

11:00 Wait…a gouache stick? I’m not sure I’ve seen those before or missed it if you mentioned in a previous vid. A white one would really come in handy. I don’t see it in your info and links area. Can you provide some info on that? Thanks 😊
I got it from AliExpress. I have no clue what's in it so I mostly use it with my kids☺️

Nope, they are regular paints, more of a satin semi gloss finish sadly (I'm a fan of matte)
