I moved to Islington from the north in 1978. I was 21. Dave lived near The Angel and it was a real buzz to see him often in the street on the tube etc looking like the rock star he is. Still terrific today and I'm now an old geezer of 67!

Isn't he just, in every incarnation he's adopted throught his career, from punk vamp to goth etc., very handsome man as well as just having that cool aura.

Love dave used to go into my local all time the star,so many punk bands there and in greyhound croydon.happy times 70's
