  • HMKG; His Majesty the King's Guard of Norway Band and Drill platoon performing at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Overseas, Melbourne, February 12th 2016.
    The soldiers in this display are all serving their 1 year national service and have been in service since primo October 2015.
    This contingent will also participate in the Norwegian Military tattoo in May, and the Royal Edinburgh Military tattoo in August.

      the Aldershot tattoo's of the 1920,s and 30,s were the largest military displays ever held and were performed on grass at the Rushworth arena . the military musical pageants at Wembley stadium were also on grass.

    Wtf? Military tatoo on grass? And only one canera angle?

      Uncommon, but it happens. It’s difficult to film from more angles than one when you have one seat to film from.

      It was fine to march on actually. The Norwegian Millitary Tattoo was far worse. The floor was slippery as ice I swear, and of course they polished it after every performence. *Shudder.
