I’ve said it before. Frankie’s car is like no other car. A total package of all types of racing in one. Plus I’ve yet to see you go from smiling to fear in a second. I’ve watched that video at least 20 times. I’ve sent it to many of my friends who loved it. My favorite car of all time. Keep up the great work.
Your facial expressions in the grey car is priceless! That car is similar to what I would go for if I were to build a G body, but with about half of the horsepower! I don't race, I would just want it as something fun to drive. I also really like the new series!
BOTH are so sick. Frank's setup is my favorite. I just love that V8 and trans. Just watching it makes you feel alive. The sound and style is just amazing.

Chevy Citation and Celebrity (pops owned both), Ford Tempo, Nissan Stanza, AMC Kummqwat, Skylark, were great looking cars... Not. I think the 80s had some of the ugliest cars. There was no imagination. Everyone went stale after the gas crisis and played it safe for all the vanilla people.
They got it right back then 💯 not like now when everything is electronic cattle. They can never replace the early to mid 80's G-bodies!🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love this channel and new series. These are both such badass builds. I slightly like the black g body a little more than the grey car. We don’t get to see enough g body cars, so this was a treat. You guys are 🔥.

I LOVE this new series!! I, also, would've chosen the P2 Fab. The 1st G-body's unexciting exhaust note was a serious downer for me. Great it you want a sleeper but, not for me. If I'm making 1,000 hp, dammit, I want it to sound like I'm making 1,000 hp. Keep up the awesome vids brother.

I’m making the same choice, Frankie’s car is f***ing insane ! I’m a Ford fan but the episode of his car may be your best episode to date ( Dave’s 66 fastback is right there with it) I just love how he rips on it and the thing is just a monster ! The other Gbody is sick as well but ya just can’t beat the sound of a supercharged V8 🔥🔥

No difference in opinion here Shawn, they’re both super impressive builds. I absolutely love the fact that the first one has a V6 and is running 1000 horsies and all that feel of original interior, but the 2nd one with the stance, the sound and that killer all around performance, that says everything. Absolutely loved this video!!

AWESOME SERIES SHAWN!!!! As a 1987 Buick Grand National owner I’m definitely going with #1 GN!!!😎👍🏁 but the 2nd one is Awesome too that SuperCharged LS when he starts it,it sounds like a samurai sword coming out of its holster😬to be honest with you I would love to have both😁BEST OF BOTH WORLDS👍👍

I'm a purest, so I'll have to go with Jeremy's GN on this one. I have a 2019 Scat Pack stock appearance but some extra performance mods. Nice idea with the this Shawn....looking forward to a Mopar showdown. Cheers and Happy New Year to the AutotopiaLA crew.

Man, I love this new series! I was in cold sweats trying to decide which 1 to pick, because I just love the old school G body look, feel, & streetable interior. But I had to pick the P2 Fab because of all of the glorious sounds it makes.

My parents had a 1980 regal. A friend had a 81. Miss that car. That body style is one of the best. Like that first one better with the V6 turbo. 😎🔥🔥🔥♥♠

Don’t mind the new series, even tho it’s not new footage, I like how you still took time to give fresh opinion on the cars rather than just do a highlight reel. I’ll stick with 1st g-body 6 cylinder monster only cause it varies the period correct engine.

As a huge fan of the original Autotopia series of featuring cool ass cars, the new series is a cool new direction. I too would select Frankie G’s t-type. It’s a beast of a car and it’s probably easier to add the creature comforts to that car.

Traditional G body styling is nice. And then you got the all out Zero fucks given racer. That's what I love about the individuality and creativeness in builds. But hands down for me I love to hear that LS rumble especially with a power adder behind it. Chef's kiss!!!

Both are badass, and while I love the turbo 6 build, I'd go with Frankie's car just based on how the total package was built and it is more of an all around car vs just straight line. Love the new series, keep it up!
Although that V8 Regal is sick af, I'm a GN owner and love that V6 sound and it's built really great... Love the drag setup.... Just like mine too.
Very different builds here and I think they’re both great
I would be proud to own either. However, a baby between the two, put the GN 6 pot into the T-type; that's my fave.

I tried to buy a 1987 Grand National when I was 21, but $27,000 CDN at that time was too steep. Still my favourite turbo v6 off all time!
I like the new series I will choose orignal Grand National I'm just a huge fan of the originality of it and man you just can't beat that 3.8 Turbo unique sound it's also my dream build🙋🏾♂️

I like the new series. I like both G bodies for the same reasons. And my winning choice was the same. Had the Black GN been running normal tires versus drag radials and skinnies, I might have gone that way.

Digging the new content idea. Back in the 90s, there was the mustang vs grand national showdown every summer at Englishtown, NJ, some of the baddest gn's would show up. Although the 86 t type is gnarly as hell, I'm going with the old school, v6 built gn. The sound, the stance, there's nothing like it. And like u sd , all the amenities too! And still can be a daily.
Love G-bodys like both of them but would go with the black one just more of what I am looking for on and off the road. Like this new segment 😎👍

Love the series it's a new concept that's very entertaining. As far as car goes I would choose the black gn just for the comfort and drive ability. I own a 86 cutlass that I love taking out for drive posted couple videos take a look. And the family loves to ride with . And in the gray buick that would be uncomfortable for everyone and not very enjoyable. But I love both builds and the direction they are going with them.
