I didn't used to like them either, then Popular Monster came out and the lyrics really hit home with me, and then this.....this is like the definition of someone growing up.
It hits completely different when you know the original. I've seen other reactors that just got into FiR with the recent songs, and they connect with it differently than others that know the original. It just shows how good of artists and musicians they are to have an old song for the older fans, but also for newer fans.
I completely agree! I've known of these guys for a number of years. As much as I didn't like the vocal sound of the old I can still appreciate it. Lately though everything they release is gold.
It’s amazing what tone and pace can do to a song. I was blown away. And honestly (also probably unpopular opinion) I like the reimagined one better. Maybe because I’m old. 🤷♀️

It's like what Floor Jansen's done to Nightwish's "Nemo" by slowing it down and doing it stripped back. It gives it new life. The lyrics really punch you in the gut.

I love FIR. I adore Ronnie. Think he is disgustingly talented. But my first thought after listening to this song (however hauntingly beautiful it is, and it is!) was “It’s about time the newer generations get to experience the old MCR”. In any case if emo is back I’ll be the first (old) person on the bandwagon with it. Cheers.

I feel like my expressions were probably the exact same as yours the first time I heard it. I love this song and most of the other songs by Ronnie Radke, especially the newest songs.
