Falling in Reverse "The Drug In Me Is Reimagined" REACTION & ANALYS by Vocal Coach/Opera Singer

- It's not very often that an artist re-makes their own hit song, and it's even more rare for the re-make to be even better than the first.
Falling in Reverse did just this, with a cover of their original 2011 release, called "The Drug in Me is Reimagined." Elizabeth never would have imagined that she'd end-up falling in love with the punk-rebel-angry voice of lead singer Ronnie, but you can watch the whole process during this video.
Join professional opera singer Elizabeth Zharoff, as she listens to Falling in Reverse new hit, "The Drug in Me is Reimagined" for the first time.

I am intrigued by you! not in a creepy way, I see the ring and respect that bond ( like i'd have a chance if not... haha ) question is, where did you grow up, if you don't mind sharing.
Look for the band called In this moment....its insane
This is everything that I want every Falling in Reverse reaction to be.
Could not have said it better myself.
Honest to god.
Facts.
Ronnie does entire sets constantly alternating between similar screams and clean singing. Maybe his vocal chords are just made of something not of this earth 😅 He really has grown as a person over the years.
helpful to know! Thanks!
Does he still have sets where he throws microphone stands into the crowd? Did everyone just forget how much of an asshole this guy was?
Correctly done Fry screams with proper warmup should not be very damaging to your vocals. Incorrectly done though, it'll absolutely wreck them though.
brandon b you are one of the people asshole by Ronnie and Andy is dedicated to my friend
@@suchgr8hieghts Was* He also used to be on a lot of drugs. People change.
This reaction is the clear representation of what we all fans felt when we heard this jewel. Thanks for this Elizabeth.
Ronnie has been screaming for YEARS, he is very healthy in how he screams.
The only reaction person on RUclips who HEARS what the music is. Truly hears and appreciates all of it
I would love to see you're reaction to shinedowns cover of simple man. And I love the fact you complemented him on his consonants. That's one my complaints a lot of times is that they get dropped. I love this song, the emotions, the pull back and build up. So amazing.
What a beautiful reaction! The screaming at the end is so everything!!!.... so full of pain... so full of passion.... so full of power and emotion. It hits me hard, every time and now that I watched this reaction after not seeing it for awhile, I feel the full impact of the tortured pain and emotion in his vocal performance again, like it’s the first time, all over again.
Thank you for this!
I think she just fell in love with ronnie
I love your pic Dude! Long love Xxxtentacion
I truly enjoyed experiencing this for the first time alongside you. I love your emotional connection to the music and your appreciation of the little things.
👏👏👏👏 So happy to see a reaction like this. I was tearing up and had goosebumps all over the whole time when I first heard this. Very appreciative of your in depth reaction
Exploring Falling In Reverse a bit more due to this video: would love a reaction to "Popular Monster"!!!
There is a reaction to this song on RUclips by one of the actors (one of the 4 masked cellists) - Royal Blu - which has some interesting BTS stuff about this clip!... Ronnie's emotions in his recent works are so apparent. He has "Sisu" (A Finnish word with no proper English equivalent). Odd that you mentioned Disturbed's Sound of Silence - just watched it and several reactions to it!.... The first version was tongue in cheek and this is just emotional and brilliant! .... in another song - Ronnie: "I'm not a vampire, I just feel like one sometimes"!... He also said that the piano notes are the same as the guitar solo in the original..... This man deserves to be a Popular Monster! - Monstrously popular!
Love it! Ronnie Radke has been one of my favorite artists for awhile now. I listen to all of his albums with falling in reverse and his time with escape the fate!
One thing you mentioned about his vampire teeth, he has a song from the same album called I'm not a vampire. He actually just did a remake very similar to this one called I'm not a vampire revamped!
I had to subscribe after this reaction. Amazing
Hexes live in studio by TesseracT you would love!
It was him playing the piano. He said in a twitch stream that he hit all the notes on the guitar solo in order for it to work as that was the only way it could be done.
I’d like to see a reaction to Carry on by Falling in reverse. He does some great things with his voice in that song as well. From really breathy to gritty. Check it out!
I would love to see her react to Popular Monster or Drugs to analyse the other styles of his voice.
This was an amazing review!
8:08 this is a happy women
Did u also do a reaction video when you listened to the original?
If my girl doesn't look at me the way you're watching at this song, I don't want her.
🤣🖤🤣🤣
Same bruh
Same ... honestly came to the comments to write the same damn thing LOL!
Truer words have never been spoken
That's the look of true love. If you find someone that looks at you like this never let them go
He’s not a vampire but he feels like one sometimes
That song is still a banger, recently revisited it.
😆 🤣 😂 😹
TheTroll865 thought he said he was a ware wolf 😅
His head is always shaking body's always aching and some say his the darkest when he feeds.
I understood that reference
Ronnie Radke is his own genre. The dude is a true artist.
Amen
Underrated comment right here 🖤
This right here should be repeated. Right on
@@scottarrowsmith3649 I don't think you can disagree...there are a few of these unicorns...he would be one
This song should have been Grammy nominated. Most of the other 2021 nominees in the Rock Performance category are nowhere near as good as this.
Ronnie said he has been playing the piano his whole life and he is self taught. He is absolutely AMAZING
He doesn't play the piano for this song though.
@@SirGuidemere91 the dude recorded that solo too though, not saying ronnie can play that solo, but he didn't recorded it
@@SirGuidemere91 actually, he is NOT playing the piano in this song. He's sitting at the piano, but the same person who translated Jacky's original guitar solo into the exact same notes for the piano is the same person who is playing the piano and cello's in this video. With that being said, yes Ronnie can play the piano, but he was not playing the piano in this video! In fact, the young man who composed all of this stuff flat out set the record straight to clear up any confusion. He is in the official FIR facebook group and shares things he's composed with the most recent being 2 days ago. His name is Sean Rooney. He's not hard to find and you can see for yourself about the piano and cello's! 😊 He is truly exceptional!

Yeah and Kim y un can fly a boeing first try all alone
Did we all just witness her fall in love with Ronnies voice? Yes. As she should
As someone who’s heard this song close to a million times, anyone else as excited as me to see her reaction when it drops at the end?
I'm just gonna go ahead and assume you were not even a little disappointed huh?
@@blainegossens3962 not even close to disappointed. I love when amazing artist’s gets the recognition they deserve!
Definitely, lol! I was waiting through the whole song for that. If she ever decides to do a reaction to "Watch the world burn", I'll be doing the same thing when it drops at the end of that one as well, (right before he levitates). 😜
Yes I do
Hell yeah homie!
Ive never seen a physical eargazm reaction before it was incredible watching your reaction, to a alresdy incredible song.
Every time she listens to any song with Floor Jansen you can see her eargasms, very clear. It's amazing how sensitive she is to sounds, it's cool to see.
Fr bro you know she 100% wet
@@davin4788 There were a few times where I thought she’d liftoff. Lol
Go watch Rebecca react to cemetery gates for the ultimate eargasm
If you haven't already watch her reaction to "Snuff" by Corey Taylor.
We will notify you if you ended up on Ronnie's Twitch 😊 That was quite an emotional ride eh? More ❤ for Elizabeth.
Totes Emoshe! 😭
Saw this comment and went to his twitch as he watched this reaction
HE JUST DID
Ahh so hard to give timestamp for Elizabeth to see!
Link, any link?
Can we agree that whoever arranged the Reimagined version is a genius?
Hell yes. I'm stunned
That’s Ronnie Radke
Ronnie does pretty much all the creative process himself. Obviously gets input from the band maybe but he's said on twitch that he comes up with a lot of his suff
I remember showing someone who enjoys the original this version and they were like "Ehhhh.." to which I was like damn. Something's wrong with you 😂
He did.
I feel like she just showed what falling in love looks like. Her facial expressions are so honest and real and true....she literally started not knowing what to expect and fell in love. It's beautiful to see music and art do this to people as that's the whole point of it. Connect and passion and emotion.
Such a beautiful reaction to such a beautiful song.
The original is a bop.
This sounds more like a cry for help.
I love both.
High school emo sounds like bops that are kind of cries for help, this is us now, grown up, and there's so much less bop and I think that's so appropriate. He knows exactly what he's doing with his remakes.
It's about a toxic relationship if you've ever been in one . Or maybe that's just me
@@VideoEgo1 or just dealing with loss.
@@VideoEgo1 this one makes me cry because it reminds me of my past relationship, and how my ex was a drug because I was controlled and used alot and idolized her which broke me entirely and after leaving I just have a scar in my soul.
I thought it was about drug addiction but that's the thing with music.. it can touch alot of topics
For the love of God please do their song " I'm Not a Vampire (Revamped)"!!!!
This makes this song seem like childs play.
Yes please!!!!! Cant wait to see her reaction to im not a vampire revamped! A lot of the reactions have been good but i know hers will be awesome
It's been a while for a song to hit me like "I'm not a vampire" did. Holy shit!
Yo she just did!
Please
He wrote this in prison. The song itself means alot to him. It's a changing moment for him to let go of all the things he did.
You are a lucky, lucky, LUCKY person if your girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever had even a fraction of the adoration that this woman has for this video and music in general! 😂😂😂
If that chair was made of leather, i am pretty sure she'd slide off of it... lmao
Bruh! 😂😂😂
But after watching some I just thumbed up your comment, since it describes everything going on here rather well
😂😂😂 I’m dead
I had that same thought, at one point, she was fully ready to have Ronnie's baby
Underrated comment
man, I wanted to downvote this so much but couldn't. hit the nail on the head. hell, I'm straight and almost slide out of my chair.
Who else loves how she flutters Her eyes whenever she gets an emotional connection? I ain’t no creep just saying xD
An amazing personality from a very beautiful woman ❤️
I don't blame ya in 2020 to mention no creep vibe...but U can't help her facial expressions r insane
totally with you!
She is so intensely passionate about music, it's a whole body and soul experience for Elizabeth, and we are so lucky she brings us along with her. Girl crush on her and fellow ginger colleague Julia Nilon.
Whenever any beautiful girl flutters her eyes it makes my heart stop, I feel you
Oh I'm infatuated with this Angel. I know she's married, that doesn't mean I can't be smitten!!
Looking forward to Ronnie’s reaction to your reaction. Based on how this song moved you emotionally, he will love this for sure.
He just did it

now the real question here is " WHY DO GOOD GIRLS LOVE BAD GUYS "
The worse ya treat em the better they are to ya. I just ain't got it in me.
It's not bad guys, it's confident guys
I've definitely had this question for a real long time tbh-
@@f4lling_1n_r0mance4 killed me lmfao
IVE HAD THIS QUESTION FOR A REAL LONG TIME
If you liked this song, Ronnie just released another reimagined song from his old catalog. You're in for a treat if you watch his new one "I am not a vampire (revamped)". He really stepped it up, and the official video is glorious! Wow!
This is literally my favorite song of all time. My goosebumps feel sore after all that.
He took emo music and grew it up with us, it's insane, nobody else is doing what he's doing right now and I love every second.
I think the fact that he IS definitely hurting himself to express his hurt is what really drives the emotion. Man. So good
I would love to see your reaction to Alter Bridge Blackbird live at Wembley. Myles Kennedy has a unique and awesome voice
Could not back this up more! Myles is just amazing. Words Darker Than Their Wings at the Royal Albert Hall is also an incredible live performance!
YES!!!!!
Wembley is great, but I think their live in Amsterdam may be even better!
I'd love to see her do Words Darker Than Their Wings live from Royal Albert Hall. That vocal performance by Myles and Mark was great and that high note, holy hell. And it was like the 14 song of the set if I remember correctly. Incredible.
I think the Billboard Watch Over You performance best shows off his voice!
I really like how you noted his final scream. It feels so disconnected and far away, fading behind the piano. It really gives the feeling of anguish, desperation, and loneliness.
Ok so way later but "I'm Not a Vampire (re-vamped) he definitely made out as the sequel to this with the vampire fangs and all, you'll love it.

Ronnie isn't a vampire, he's a werewolf.
Unshakable by Slapshock
The Crown by Slapshock
Wake Up by Slapshock Reaction please
I hesitate to request this after such a beautiful song, but could you possibly do an AC/DC song? Thunderstruck, for preference. I'd love to know how Brian Johnson managed to do that pretty much non-stop for around 35 years, yet when he left the band, it was due to deafness, not any loss of voice.
I love your reaction to this, sincerely. I'm an HSP and to see someone else strongly connect to music and emotion like this is golden. Well done!
Ronnie has an amazing range. The vampire teeth are one of the Easter eggs he puts into most of his videos for his fans to find. The vampire teeth reference his song "I am not a Vampire" the girl in the blue dress is referencing the girl on their album The Drug in Me is You. This is one of my favorite songs from FIR. I would love to see you react to Asking Alexandria - "Alone in a Room" acoustic.
So i guess it`s as good time as ever to react to Corey Taylor - From Can to Can`t
Oeh yeah! Never really seen anyone react to that. Such a great song! And what a voice....
Yes yes yes yes and yes to this
Yes!
You know you did well when you leave a vocal coach smiling during the suffering inferno of screaming pain and fire section. Can’t get enough of this song.
We need a Howard Jones reaction. My Curse please, or End of Heartache. I know screaming isn't something that you usually go for, but his chorus's are always so clean and beautiful to listen to.
Ronnie Radke is super underrated as a musician & performer. The guy has so much range & musical proficiency and this song in particular showcases this.
I'm hoping to see a reaction of "Blind and Frozen" By Beast In Black. Surprising vocals from the start!
I think his ghost love score cover shows off his insane vocal range better
From Hell With Love would be a great track to review as well!
ABSOLUTELY.
I love his cover of this song
YES
Falling in Reverse have just posted a new song ! You won’t be disappointed for suuuuuure ! 😍

Recently, the band "Motionless in White" have also released "reimagined" versions of their songs, Eternally Yours and Another Life, known as the "Motion Picture Collection Edition". Could you give those a listen?
Just listened to that for the first time. Dude. That was an emotional roller coaster. Glad you turned me onto that.
@@kalebpiper8107 Always happy to help man.
Incredible versions, i love the original ones but those 2 are so damn good.
@Allen Denton totally! I prefer the new Eternally Yours better than the old one.
Wow I'd never expect MiW to pop up in here and get so many likes, I thought about recommending it before, Chris has such a unique voice and style
Great reaction Elizabeth. Have to recommend Courtney Laplante, Spiritbox // Rule of Nines (Live one take vocal performance)
Yessss! Or live one take of holy roller
Love me some Spiritbox, but I don't think Courtney displays a ton of singing range. Mostly just soft singing with a ton of backing vocals and then screaming. She's good, just not diverse.
@@elewojo This is not true at all, she is one of the most diverse metal singers out there. You can check a video by kardavox analysing her singing. "Some screaming" - believe me, there is much, much more behind her voice.
As others have already mentioned, Within Temptation is perfect for this channel. I would suggest Memories by them. Great song all around
The Promise or Somewhere please! Black Symphony of course;)
End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage. Howard Jones' voice is amazing!
a bit operatic as well, which she may love!

This song reminds me alot of "The fighter " by In this moment, would love to see your reaction to it
I concur fine sir.
Yes. This is a top-notch rec!
Her voice is amazing in that song
Yes, this seems like a mainstream alternative to "The fighter". This is much easier listen and much more melodic.
Yes!!
I listen to this song almost daily...and tear up every time. It’s so beautiful on so many levels.
I am always reminded of and would love to see Ronnie play The Beast in Beauty and The Beast. I think he could portray the torment of Prince Adam.

The kid lucky enough to find the words. The man grown enough to finally understand them...
Can't wait to watch Ronnie react to this on stream
Ronnies voice is amazing go from so soft to so hard it's such an amazing reimagined version
I close my eyes and I hear what Lestat should have sounded like from The Queen of the Damned. Incredible range and powerful lyrics.
While I totally love the guy who did lestat singing voice I also agree ronnie would have also done it justice and been great
@@Azrael-the-immortalI agree, Jonathan Davis of Korn did the vocals and wrote the music for the movie and was incredible in it, but Ronnie to me has something extra special in his voice that would fit Lestat.
Agreed. Can we get a Queen of the Damned remake with Ronnie?!
Whoa what a legit comparison
I've a new emotional song of falling in reverse. This song is : I'm not a vampire. I love this song too and you, i think too. Do you want crying?
That little breath a 2:06 where she remembers to breath 😍
I love towards the end of the song when he’s screaming you and can hear the drums change in tempo just every so slight tho and it’s absolutely beautiful
Falling In Reverse is my new fav. Tonight was my first trip down the rabbit hole. Last Resort Reimagined had me hooked, Ronnies voice is F'N Phenomenal!!!

If you haven’t heard .. Ronnie did a “revamped” version of “I am not a vampire” that could possibly be better than this song .. ya should really check it out
I would really love to see your reaction and analysis on Within Temptation's Ice Queen or Mother Earth. They also do a colab with Tarja for Paradise (What About Us?) and a colab with Xzibit for And We Run. And she does a really great cover of Swedish House Mafia's Don't You Worry Child.
seconded
I'd also love her to react to some Within Temptation (one of my favourite bands), though these wouldn't be my choices. In the Mother Earth album I still feel WT doesn't quite have that matured sound they reach in The Silent Force and onward, the audio quality still feels a little bit "indie". The Silent Force is where I feel things pick up and Heart of Everything in particular seems to have one amazing song after another.
I second Samantha.
I would say The Promise is the best one to start, or Somewhere of course ft. Anneke!
This was so fun to watch. I absolutely love seeing someone who clearly had a deep understanding and respect for music/voices just fall in love with a song.
Also, idk if it’s been said but he write this in prison while looking in a mirror, so the drug in him is himself. Pretty deep concept.
