Was really hoping this was going to be the next attempt at a "Google Glass" when I first heard about this. That would have been a very exciting prospect.
To me, the definition of smart glass = adaptive lens correction to correct all types of vision imperfections/ the ability to adjust to different light conditions. Smart in its context, for the right purpose. Right now, these are just eyewear with 'smart' addon accessories that's not really needed.
No, this should call “smart lenses”, and I think it an impossible thing. We already have photosensitive lenses, with is smart enough for me. Smart glasses is about give another functions for glasses, I mean. Why I should use earphones, and smartphones, and even action cameras, if I already need to use one object in my face? This is just a step, but the same way we don’t need to carrying a big phone, an MP3 player, a digital camera, a Watch, and a notebook anymore, someday we won’t need to use nothing more than our glasses.
You can get these with your prescribed lenses as they partnered with Lensabl. Scroll down to the FAQs, have your prescription on hand, and your wallet ready.
The only problem is that Bose already made these and they didn't go very well despite having 3 different models. I was expecting a pair of glasses that used a HUD projection to give you information right on your glasses.
Those glasses was forbidden to sell and use because...imagine you ar driving and see projection and glasses ........or you walking on street looking on new video on RUclips....why your cross the street on RED sign.......because of this was forbidden and was google the owner who developed it :) Google glasses
Wait, so these are smart "glasses" that don't use the actual glass part of the glasses at all? And they are really actually earphones in the shape of glasses?
For mobile applications... I am already touching the screen, my fingers are already near the phone... and I now have to raise my fingers to touch the sides of the glasses?
Low Key... Music at work on the daily. Dope asf. Recommend small. Tried the large, looked like Drew Carry from the price is right. He rocks that look like a boss...but damn there big.
My workplace doesn’t allow us to wear earbuds so I’m hoping this’ll be a clever workaround. Being able to listen to some music, even if the quality isn’t that good, makes those long shifts much more bearable. I just ordered these so I’m hoping that they’ll be alright.
@@modupeolawinjobi4960 Okay so I just got them earlier today and so far they’re pretty good. Of course the audio isn’t earbud quality but it’s still not that bad at all. You have to have the volume at least below 50% if you don’t want other people hearing your stuff though. Overall pretty good, can’t wait to try these out at work on Monday.
Do you really think people are gonna buy it!?? Ok , what are your sales last month? How much you make it for ? And how much you sell it for? I just happen to watch lot of Shark Tank recently.
See, I work in a very physical industry where we can't have a phone in the building, but can have little mp3 players, headphones get snagged on everything, and wireless earbuds become uncomfortable during a shift that can often extend to upwards of 14 hours during this time of the year, My curiosity is peaked as to whether or not these would be compatible with a cheap little $50 bluetooth mp3/mp4 player off amazon, as if so, these would be the perfect companion to my shift, even if I have to swap them for my regular frames every 5 hours or so to charge.
I spent 2 minutes watching Glasses that can connect via Bluetooth to my phone, with zero emphasis placed on what it does beyond connecting via Bluetooth to my phone. This is even bad for an April's Fools Day product
