I really want Xiaomi to get into VR industry. These classes are most of the way there already. The display placement by the way looks a lot better than the n-real glasses. Sitting the same as normal glasses is a big plus. Need to see still is the quality comparable, or are these just HUD style, but this sure seems a big leap forward for many cases.
Wow this is something revolutionary... It gave me vibe of Tony Stark glasses, I know it's not that much advanced but in future might be! Imagine: Camera being of good quality (We could use to record every moment in high resolution) Wireless charging and E-sim can be used to make it waterproof and portless. Also it shouldn't be too heavy or it will hurt ears and nose.
A lot of companies have attempted the smart glasses, some of them have even been what I would consider successful, I have high hopes for this product from Xiaomi, given their track record I think they have the ability to pull it off, I think the hardest thing will be allowing 3rd party apps to integrate, like google duo, Microsoft teams, uber, with the battery technology like the amazfit watches I believe they could sustain extended battery life and still maintain a high level of functionality. Looking forward to a final released product, hopefully they can accommodate different styles

Because they probably are bouncing a tiny projector beam off a special coating on the lens it's unlikely that a standard prescription lens will work because it would pass right through the glass but I wouldn't be too surprised if they sold you the glasses with the proscription you use/need for a bit more money than a standard pair sold to the average 2020 person
From a visual standpoint they need some work, but I hope to see that improve over the generations. The functionality looks practical enough that I would want to try it at least.

With the amount of us that wear prescription glasses, companies need to take this into account and make them customizable.
Because they probably are bouncing a tiny projector beam off a special coating on the lens it's unlikely that a standard prescription lens will work because it would pass right through the glass but I wouldn't be too surprised if they sold you the glasses with the proscription you use/need for a bit more money than a standard pair sold to the average 2020 person
