Lemon Macaron Recipe

Ingredients: Makes about 15-18 macarons
50 grams almond flour or powder
40 grams powdered sugar
40 grams egg white
40 grams sugar
pinch of salt
yellow food coloring (optional)
Lemon Buttercream:
6 Tbsp or 85 grams unsalted butter (room temp)
3/4 cup or 75 grams powdered sugar
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Melted white chocolate (optional)

Whatever food safe coloring you have available as long as it is not a liquid. Always choose gel food coloring. Wilton, Americolor, Ecco are some of the brands we have available in the USA.
