Just came across this video. Thank you so much for making this video. I have just started a Nighthaunt army and I knew I didn't want to do the typical colour scheme for them. This is the scheme I was looking for. For a 'tabletop' piece it looks amazing. I love that you took the time to explain about direction of brush strokes and why it matters.

Great video! You quickly become one of my favorite RUclipsrs to watch. 1 because you are a great painter and 2 because your video's are so nice and easy to listen to.
One addition: 5:35 yes if the color is light because it has white in it, no if it is light because of the addition of yellow. You must this, but maybe not all other viewers do.
I like the approach, I have a number of nice nighthaunt models from mortal realms desperate to be painted... have to clear some existing projects first

I am wandering why you usually seem to stick to Citadel colors in your videos? Is it because viewers are familiar with them, or that you prefer them for one reason or another?
What brushes do you use? I have an old Raphael 8408 size 0 I use for my workhorse brush, but I have a hard time maintaining that sharp tip for those long thin lines.
What's the make of the ultra matt varnish ?

Dude I love you and your work, but you gotta stop saying this is _tabletop standard_. Tabletop is literally base + wash + highlight, something that's sustainable for building an army of 100+ minis in a realistic timeframe :D
