Lovely car fella. I built a Sprint/Hillclimber some 35 years back. 1293 mated to straight cut box. Single bored out HIF6 Su carb. Hi/Los with Spax shocks. With that 50 mph first gear she went like a banshy.

Does he go above 5000rpm at any point? Not exactly driven hard is it! My built ones were taken to 7000rpm every day once warm, with good quality oil, changed regularly, and never missed a beat. REV IT!

Why would you want the shocks wound all the way hard? I’ve heard people say they’re pretty stiff on the softest
