You know what's funny, I barely found out about tenacious D not too long ago and I've been a Jack Black fan since the 90s. School of Rock, shallow hal, and other classics. I thought jack stopped acting in movies, instead he was doing tenacious D which I recently just found out about.

Nobody puts humour and life into music more than Jack and Tenacious D.
It is not easy blend quality music with very subtle humourous vocals and a very comedic script. Seriously, each TD music video in its self is a movie.
i've had this song on repeat for 30+ hours. never in my life have i had the motivation to do so much awesome stuff!!!!!
In hindsight this might be one of the great last performances Kilmer gave before losing his voice. God bless him.

Wouldn't this make for an amazing movie idea though? Like..they use the bong of Destiny and Jabels makes it as an actor, amazing rockstar and everything and Kage just faded off, one day the effects of the Bong caused Kage to go crazy and try to attack Jabels and Val Kilmer ends up saving him (like in the video) Seeing the sacrifice causes Kage to split into two sides one evil and one good and the guys try to find a way to reverse the effects of the B.O.D (Bong Of Destiny) You could bring Ben Stillers character back as the spiritual rock guide and informant of all the metal and demonic knowledge, and even have Ozzy as a demon who was supposed to lead hell but was banished to earth (even have a funny backstory how he's been alive for all eternity and how it seems he'll never die.) And carry it on from there...also put Woody Harrelson in there some how and you've got gold..

This video is hilarious, though you get a little lump in your throat when you know that the story isn't completely fictional. I really hope that The D will rise again this year and put out another album that is kicking asses. Jack on the big screen is great, but nothing compared to the combined Jables and Kage magic!
