they were the only thing that help my chronic depression. it's a nasty ass bitch but it's like he wrote a lot of them for me bc they reflect exactly how i feel
Same here. 46 as well. I’m so grateful for being introduced to this band by my older cousins. Because of that the universe opened and I became aware of a whole new world.

I love The Cure. They have made my life more complete since 1985 when I discovered them at age 22. I was living in Encinitas, CA at the time. Life was so...........Good.
What an amazing band, they will always be remembered by so many of us lucky enough to be their fans, their true fans, fans of talent, great music, touching & meaningful lyrics & of course the great Mr.Smith !!!! Thank you for your labor of love putting this together for all of us to enjoy 👍🖤🎸🎶🎵🇬🇧😎
Ive only stared my Cure journey, and i played in bands for a long time ,but The Cure never came into my music world ,so im a latecomer to the party as it were ,but im delighted about it .
I got to see them play The Exploding Boy live, but not in 85. I saw them play it in San Diego 5 years ago (I think it was around 5 years ago). Seeing my all time favorite song performed live made it the greatest day of my life.
Fantastic list of songs. I was hoping it might have Forever from Radio City Music Hall in 2008. I believe it’s the last time they played it. But we can’t have everything. Thanks for all the work compiling and editing, From a Cure fan since 14 years old in 1985
I wonder if Robert, when he looks at old song titles, thinks, "What was I thinking to call a song 'Splintered in her head'?" ....cool song and those murky early years were so interested. New Day is another incredibly atmospheric darkish song that my younger teenage self reveled in and wondered what does he mean??
Nice stuff here - I'm not sure how some of these songs fell out of circulation live, they are great. I guess I can understand the occasional forgotten lyric when the band has been going for 40 years :)
Wow!! Un concierto con todo este material, más otros b-sides y canciones dl Faith, dl seventenn seconds sería la cereza dl pastel para los verdaderos fans de the cure.....
What a lovely memories listening to these masterpieces😍 I came here after I listen to The Cure's new collab with Gorillaz also strange a it is. Hopefuly one day they will be playing Halo, I love that song 😢🙂
Can feel that Bob doesn't like Torture anymore... I have read somewhere that he hated the entering part. A bloody great track in my opinion, even though the very beginning of the song isn't its best part. The rest if it makes it up for sure!
Hey man, totally standing in solidarity regarding he and Mary’s decision to not have kids. Why? Well, my reason is I was born with a chronic, terminal condition that has left me without this ability UNLESS I undergo a slightly expensive surgery. Cool, doable, but then someday I have to explain that “Dadddy has to go away and you cannot follow him.” This would be the beginning of a SHIT STORM. about life, death, and consciousnesses. I had to learn these things very early in life, and they STILL make me unsettled. The song “The Boy I Never Knew” is a song about that very issue: regrets about not having children near your twilight years....
Hearing I Don’t Know What’s Going On live is just more evidence that The Cure 2004 would have been a much better album had Ross Robinson stayed clear the f’k away from the Producer’s chair.
Am i the only one who sometimes thinks, this band has brought me joy for over 20 years (and kept me alive arguably)
they were the only thing that help my chronic depression. it's a nasty ass bitch but it's like he wrote a lot of them for me bc they reflect exactly how i feel
Make it 40 years for me..

Or losing a child as in my case. He does say years ago as if there was a child or in their case a miscarriage.
Faltan mr pink eyes stop dead new day pero esto no tiene precio topppppppp
The first song's guitar sounds like The Loudest Sound.
Simon and Robert made mistakes in Torture :) It's hard to play song :)
Adopt me, Robert :D haha

Bring back Pearl
Wow... pornography made me cry. So good ❤️
The cure artista fatti pagare basta il suono le parole verbo il suono delle 7 note.
Give Me It though...
Wow they kinda tortured Torture didn't they.... and that attempt at Baby Screams would make any age cry a little
Yeah I don't think they practiced that one enough
