I know that its been 3 years since this video was posted. But thank you, this is the most easiest procedure you made. In other videos, they ask us to buy expensive things or extra thing. With just 3 things, you showed us a massive project.
thanks bro, life saver, i thought my coil was too thick and would have too much resistance but after seeing this video i also realised i could just use a double a battery
So I tried this experiment because I want to test if the wire I have is real copper or not and I couldn’t even hold the wire to the battery for more than a few seconds as it was burning my fingers. I see you’ve mentioned this could happen in your disclaimer, so does that mean the wire I am testing is not real copper? Because you seem to be able to hold yours just fine… I’d love your advice. Thanks!
This is really helpful! I'm helping my little brother with a project about this but need to know one more thing. How do you keep the wires connected to the battery without using you fingers the whole time?
Thanks soo much I had an my holiday homework in physics make electromagnet firstly I don't understand how to make but now I understand how to make thanks Very very very much
If I use a DC power supply (AC to DC) plugged into a 15A wall outlet and the DC power supply is 12V 10A, will I get hammered if I touch the copper wires that are wrapped around the magnet? Is 10A too big? I planned to use this DC supply on a model RR to power lots of LED's and a handful of home-made electromagnets (simple design of copper wire wrapped around a threaded bolt). If I would get hammered by touching the copper wire, would the simple effort of wrapping the electromagnet with electrical tape solve the problem? Would the tape weaken the magnet's pull/strength Thanks!
i just tried this and its not working, i wrapped the copper wire around a nail, and i put both ends of the copper wire attatched to the tip and bottom of a AA battery... what should i do?
I don't about this, but I have posted a video of electromagnet...and I'm 💯% sure that will help you.. So please go and watch the video. Do subscribe the channel if you love it... Thank you 😊
HI NICE VIDEOS , BUT ONE SUGGESTION TO EVERYONE . TO INCREASE THE STRENGTH OF THE MAGNET , YOU HAVE TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF TURNS MADE ON THE NAIL , IN THE VIDEO , HE MADE VERY LITTLE COILS , SO IT IS NOT THAT STRONG ,\. JUST A SUGGESTION IF YOU WANT TO STRENGTEN YOUR MAGNET .
No actually this is special type of insulated wire (wire with insulation) Yes wire with insulation In this video the wire used is the wire one which is used for motor windings seem to be bared but it is insulated with polymer paint You can simply use insulated with thin insulation and with high voltage battery
