Hello!
Mine is... I didn't watch it yet.
It was the bird with a top hat thing because *Bird*
“The hardest thing about making a perpetual motion machine is hiding the batteries” - some smart guy I think
Absolutely!
Lol😂
Or hiding the jump cut to put in the motor when nobody sees it like those guys that make the free water pumps just out of like pieces of PVC and say gravity does it up hill
@@DaveHax you should try making some of those no electricity needed water pumps

Comparing the cheaper perpetual motion ball bearing machine to the original hand crafted version was like seeing an old fishing net next to pure Silk. How beautiful was the original!
I know it may seem expensive but I bet it'd last a lifetime so in the grand scheme of things is worth every penny.
Beautiful!! 😍
I think I’d really love the spinning globe if it had a galaxy design. It looks like so much fun
The price isn't fun.

That MovaGlobe thing is a modern take on some old toys we had in the 80s.
They used to have eyeballs inside them and you could roll them and they looked like they were slippy slimy eyeballs sliding across the floor :D

Perpetual motion doesn’t exist
@@MrSkeleton14 yes, I know this from the video, I was talking about the machine the man made that imitates it.
Well for a machine that's 100+ dollars i can see why.

Perpetual motion isn possible, a perpetual motion machine however-
The drinking bird brought back so many memories of my grandparents house. They had one on the kitchen windowsill, way back in the early '70s. Us grandkids thought it was pretty cool!

The legit one is honestly very cool. If you're not a science guy and don't know or particularly care what perpetual motion machines are, then that item that can seamlessly throw balls over and over again as long as its tuned on is a nice thing to have on display

Perpetual motion machines do not exist and never will, unless there is some sort of unknown quantum effect that could create one far in the future

Hey Dave,
I don't know if you'll ever see this or respond in the sea of RUclips comments but I'd like to dually thank you and congratulate you.
I just rediscovered your channel from the most obscure, hazy memory I had of a review channel that did an ice bucket challenge which had a whole construction machine drop water on them. This was a video I watched in my early childhood... among many more of yours.
As of writing this, I'm graduating my senior year of high school in a few months and the fact that your channel is still very successful having lived through youtube's golden age and beyond is simply amazing. (sorry for the run on sentence) In essence, DaveHax might simply be a nostalgic memory to me but it's format and content that continues to live no matter the audience!
You cracked the code to RUclips by separating your personal life from the worldview and persona of DaveHax on this channel and that's literally awesome. No social media links or anything?!
I'm currently bewildered at 2am with childhood excitement. I honestly hope for the full future success of DaveHax and its completely innocent and universally enjoyable content.
Keep making people happy and reap the rewards of adsense you ultimately deserve!
Umair 🌆
Hi Umair, it's really kind you you to take the time to write such a supportive and thoughtful message, thank you so much! RUclips is not easy, it takes a lot of work and I've had various highs and lows over the years some of which I document in my 10 year anniversary video. Its something I love doing though and I'm very lucky to be able to. I really appreciate it when people leave me lovely messages like the one you have so thank you so much and good luck with whatever you chose to go on with in the future. Dave

I had cheap toy versions of the sphere over 30 years ago. Without the weight to keep it upright it creates a neat effect where the exterior ball spins sooner and faster than the interior ball, then stops later. It is a neat demonstration of friction and momentum.
i love that you described perpetual motion as only an illusion.. a lot of people don't understand that but you nailed it. great video!
My favorite one is the MOVA Globe because it automatically spins!

Reasons Why I Like DaveHax
His Commentary Is Really Great In These
His Voice
Him Keeping His Video's The Same
I’m from Vietnam and I love the perpetual marble machine most.
But that's just it. It's a machine and it's not perpetual. It's a machine driven by magnets.
Perpetual means not driven by anything.
There's only three things on this earth that are perpetual
And that's the, the sun, the moon and the stars. As for the earth, it's stationary, flat under a dome and does not move, rotate nor spin.
But we humans we're not perpetual. We can create babies to carry on our genealogy but it ends there. We go back to dust and ashes and everything we create does the same thing.
But the things that God creates goes on forever and ever and ever.

If it takes a battery its not perpetual
@@annother3350
The only things that are perpetual are the things created by our Lord God in heaven above.
The sun, the moon, and the stars.
They never stop moving over Earth.
Earth is one thing that does not move. It does not rotate and it does not circle the sun.
Because if you read scripture, the earth was created before the sun.
6:50 *“If we put them side by side we can see they’re similar dimensions the cheap one is a shorter and not as tall” 👏 Well said we’ll said.*
I bought that Drinking Bird back in 1999 off of eBay, it was a great little thing.

It's not actually a perpetual motion machinel
I mean. Wouldnt you get the same result if you replaced the electric magnet (electromagnet) with a normal magnet?
@@theflashgirl2057 Mayby, but you would need a strong magnet and it still wouldn't technically be a perpetual motion machine.
It won't work with a normal permanent magnet. You have to turn off the magnetism as the ball moves away from the magnet.
No it's not cool. It's a violation of God.
