I have a Plasma Ball (Radio Shack late 1980s or early 1990s) that has worked for over 30 years now. I do miss the Shack. Especially when I am listening to the 1987 Optimus 300 scanner.(That's the one recalled after a week when it was discovered that it literally picked up EVERYTHING, NO RESTRICTED Frequencies.) I have since acquired 2 more of these Best as you can get scanners. Great when listening to the low flying MILITARY jets rattling your home. When Radio Shack closed down In Hazard Ky, I bought their entire stock of vacuum tubes & the tester, the store's computers and most of the soldering irons with accessories, even the battery powered irons. I am still using them today.
Great vid as always!! during last Christmas, I received a smart AirTag wallet as a gift. You should add it to the video as well haha! It's helped me find my wallet twice already. (at the gym and once time at under the bed lol)
Actually, that makes sense. What is the brand name of your wallet? I've lost trust in Amazon... I ordered few wallets to my BF but unfortunately, they were low qualityy
@@JosephIsEpic967 I can’t speak for the specific ferrofluid device in this video, although I once had a small jar of ferrofluid that came with a magnet. It is very fun to play with, although the one I had unfortunately was slowly leaking, and I haven’t used it any more. That is a very rare problem, though, and it shouldn’t happen in a well-made ferrofluid device.
Thanks for putting the prices right out there in the Best Sellers and Budget categories. I really didn't like it when others just gave a list of links with not prices and I had to go look myself.
Kinda random but the kinetic art display, the metal sticks one. IM 99.9% SURE I SAW THAT IN IRON MAN. Tony was talking to pepper and he was getting annoyed at it on the table.
Or maybe a lot of people that watch this video just didn’t like it didn’t like it in both ways like they didn’t press the button and they didn’t enjoy it
After watching this video I bought the Ferro-fluid at 00:05 and the levitating pot at 01:20 - They are both awesome and work just as shown here in this video! Note: I didn't want a lamp contantly shining in my living room - so I opened the ferro-fluid box (not the flask itself, just the plastic behind) and the cables to the light are easily identifiable, so I just unplugged it, and now the light is off (it is reversible - no need to cut anything).
My favorites were: Dancing Ferrofluid Bioluminescent orb Musical Tesla coil The Lolipopter Anti-gravity humidifier Tabletop sand art display Dynamic sand art display Mirrorscope The oilers disk The drinking bird The hand boiler
I got the Tesla coil, and it’s a lot of fun. But I should warn you that it is *LOUD* as hell. I honestly had no idea that such a little device could produce such an absolutely deafening sound but you will be shocked (No pun intended) at how loud it is. You will need to wear headphones when operating it in its music mode. Like, I’m not even kidding about the noise. I can turn up my TV to the absolute maximum volume and play the music video of “Bodies” by Drowning Pool and it wouldn’t even compete with this thing
Your "kinetic art display" is actually the microscopic bioluminescent ocean-dwelling forms that light up when swirled. PyroFarms is located in Carlsbad, CA... Your video of the algal forms lighting up as you walk in the shallow ocean water gives a glimpse of the beauty of nighttine ocean wonders. :)

The globe is floating inside the sphere. There are some solar cells, a very quiet motor, and a magnet inside the globe. The motor is connected to the magnet. The magnet aligns itself with the local magnetic field. When light diffuses through the globe the motor pushes against the magnet spinning the globe.

What about the sand thingy?
I mean the sand art that was recorded making a flower

I grew up with these things. It's nice to see old technology still around.
Old 'physics'! Hardly 'technology' as nothing has changed and all of these have existed for at least 50 years to my knowledge and experience.
Light bulbs are an old technology, they are still used everywhere. These ideas are fantastic and have no reason to get abandoned
