  • In the long, long history of humanity, every so often you get a culture defining, generation defining spark of creativity - something that pushes the envelope of what we thought was artistically possible. Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Mozart's symphonies. And who could forget about the bored ape NFTs? Well, ladies and gentlemen, here I present to you the next big thing, the Melon Carver 3000.

      And if you can't, reduce your speed on the axis because your motor seem a little on the potato range ("Surprise") to not be able to keep up. If I remember motor, reducing the motor speed may help you with tork (but then you will need to decrease your axis speed... again). Also keep in mind drill bits are for drilling ("up/down") not to go side way.

    • @mjlagrone
      @mjlagrone Год назад +4

      If you cannot find router bits on the cheap, look for sheetrock bits. They make them for Dremels and the like. Other things you could do is have the depth be computer controlled and repeat the pattern over and over again, each time cutting a wee bit deeper. Fun fun!

    • @B4x4
      @B4x4 Год назад +2

      You need to up the speed on the motor too. And the router bit. Drill bits has only cutting faces in the front. Router bits has cutting faces on all edges...

    You can make your robot much better by:
    putting a big croshaped spike in the watermoleon stand that way it it cant move and use a lidar to dynamically addjust the drillbit distance from the watermelons surface. (you will also need a little clamp at the top to stop the melon from moving upwards)
