We were actually thinking on giving you some feedback about using the iterative solver to cover the k's > 1 case. I'd love it if you continue with your sim vids, you don't need to cover everything, your viewers can actually do the job... we also seem to be better judges of what's fun and/or educative or not :P Cheers.

i’ve been on a similar journey learning things i lack the education for, and i can say the last like 30 seconds of advice in this video can get you so far its insane.
You struck a good balance between technical explanation and entertainment. Your sense of humor and comedic timing were really spot on and, despite being a very technical video, you made it entertaining and enjoyable to watch for a non-technical person like myself. I hope you continue making more videos in a similar vein.
You learnt something about a hard topic, you read papers on it, you read other people's code, you implemented it by yourself. And then you optimised it. This is super valuable, regardless of the actual topic. Be proud of what you accomplished! Also, your videos are awesome!

I wanted to get into Computational Physics after watching two-minute papers, but he now covers mainly AI, so you're my computational physics guy I loved the study so much that I changed my original plan of majoring in comp sci to majoring in physics
Why not both? All jokes aside, having majored in physics with a minor in comp sci you can get a job in pretty much anything remotely tech related. It's a pretty nice combo which shows solid critical thinking skills and an ability to implement complex solutions. 10/10 would recommend.
That video about Detailed Rigid Body Simulation with Extended Position Based Dynamics is still my favourite, and I'm hoping to see a usable open-source full implementation of it someday.
Dude I love this content so much, but I understand why you want to move on. I also delved down the rabbit hole of physics simulations, and boy was it hard. I didn't even get a good simulation out of it. Please make what ever content you feel will work best for you, just know that many of us love this stuff, and will always be keen to see it. I like that at the end of the video he gives a detailed breakdown of how he went about learning the information needed to actually code what he wanted to code. It gives people who are interested in the field but dont know where to start a good system to work on.
I learnt a lot from your earlier videos though, loved that style of content and effort, the video on music was especially beautiful. But yeah its your content and if you prefer the more comedic meme content that's good enough as well
Man you're good at this, even if you're not a simulation pro you're good enough for entertaining people with this complicated stuff. People like to see someone like you making things out of their league look easy, or at least funny, and you're doing that spot on! You're going to get better eventually by doing videos anyway. (Remember that this can also open lots of doors for you) I believe in you I think you can get bigger, just focus on this stuff, even if it takes more time and you leave subs with nothing to see for a month or two. Don't do videos just to throw something in the channel, people unsub mainly when they see videos they don't like, if they don't see you in the sub feed they're going to forget they're subbed until you make a new video, thus there are less possibility that they're going to unsub (who cleans their subscriptions anyway...). Take these suggestions however you want, but Michael Reeves is the living proof of these concepts, just scroll through his channel and you'll see. You're a smart guy, you can do it! Also please sell those NFTs and buy a new computer, intel i5 and gtx 1650 in 2020 for sims is like trying to light a fire with two sticks lol. (even with that pc you're doing great so keep it up!!)

I love your style and love you coded up the simulation from reading papers. I'm way older than you but I did the same about your age. I had loads of fun and learnt loads but it also didn't make finished games (the odd half finished one my friends tried out). Don't judge yourself against having the finished project, I was never a 'completer finisher'. But I've had a fun career in speech recognition. Your curiosity and your great sense of humour will get you far.

You could totally make this into something fun and exciting, even just for something small Okay, here's some ideas: - Change the shape of the object to something like a rigid boat. One less thing for the game to calculate at all times - Change the direction of the water so that it starts low and goes high (by like 15 degrees or something), like a river flowing downhill - Goal: get past the front side of the render zone, like to a yellow finish line or something. This adds difficulty to the game as the player has to get closer to the part of the area that generates the rocks, and therefore gives them less time to react to incoming rocks - give the rocks different shapes instead of just spikes - Make the water move and rocks move in sync so that the player can use the physics to dodge the rocks or surf the water - Give the water waves - Add a scoreboard or a timer to let players track their ability to complete a level of the game Boom. Instant Flash-era game made of particle physics. Feel free to completely steal my ideas, I'd love to see you use them to make something great
I'm no programmer, but I'm a sucker for soft body physics. you deserve more props than you give yourself, that was a really cool little tech-demo for a playable soft body sim
