I was honestly expecting the robot hand to give me the middle finger near the end.
That's pretty handy
…
Amazing
Always a good thing when you need a hand
That’s a knee slapping joke
It seems you came here armed and ready.
Good humor, interesting project, good video editing
Keep it up

Handy...
You should definitely try custom PCB design. So much less soldering and wire spaghetti, and incredibly cheap these days, even with SMD soldering service. Usually cheaper than buying all the separate little boards and soldering them together. Well, cheaper per unit. But usually you have to order at least 5 units, so for a one-off design it is more expensive, and wasteful of components (which are in short supply as it is)
Totally disagree, you still need to solder as many things as you would have to without a pcb, its also much more organised and straightforward.
However like you said, it would be more expensive and wasteful and of course, Gonkee's videos take enough time as is, this would make it even longer if he made mistakes with the pcb design again and again.
If Gonkee possibly invested in a cheap 3018 pro cnc like I did a few years ago, and used it for pcb milling, we could see a lot more content like this and more crazy content, also maybe he could get into stm32 chips and creating boards for them, not just using breakout boards.
lmao imagine trolling a computer programmer to not only switch to robotics, but to make PCBs as well. i have an idea, he should manufacture his own silicon wafers as well! what's the price of failure? just cancer in your 30s is all
Yeaaaaaah.... that is because you live in the US/Canada (probably). You don't have this kind of option in other countries.
@@BerserkSurvival Question: Where do I find more information regarding CNC parameters and differences/uses between models? Won't a Shapeoko CNC work, as well?
PCBs are so overrated. Just use perfboard.
Awesome work and thanks for shouting out my design! It's definitely not easy designing a compact bionic hand but you really did a great job and encountered many of the same challenges as I did. That's an especially challenging project if you were learning CAD at the same time. Your sense of humour and editing skills are 👌😁 I'm not working on my design anymore but fortunately just starting working with a Startup company designing prosthetic arms
Really handy video. I really appreciate how awesome you are as a youtuber and engineer. You didn't need anyone to give you a hand, you did all yourself. Hands down, a very amazing piece you made here.
I think what you did was really great, and I love your sense of humour
That's awesome ... the way you are presenting better than many movie scripts.. keep up the good work ...
Love the humour...great video on how to build a robotic hand. This just shows that with determination one can learn almost anything.
I love the "give it your all" attitude. That hand looks sweet
Your editing is on point and your writing is excellent. If you don't get a gig at Boston Dynamics, you should consider an open mic.

@@juanit0tackit0tackito2 Not to be rude towards your religion, but this is completely unrelated to the discussion at hand. Please take it somewhere else, in the most respectful way possible.
You did an amazing work!
I think that cut-out in the flat of the potentiometer is where something like a woodruff key would go, a little piece that slips in there with a flat on one side to go against the shaft.
10/10 attitude and sense of humour. most entertaining + informative (+ being real) video i've seen out of dozens and dozens i watched. keep doing what you're doing! (also lenovo thinkpads FTW...)
Already love this channel. An actual guide
Please don't stop posting , I loved it 😂😂❤️
Great start and awesome video documenting your progress! I would suggest maybe trying to use off the shelf micro servos for an easier approach. N20 motors would need quite a lot of CAD work to integrate well into a hand. Especially when trying to integrate the potentiometers and PCBs.
Just what I need to start the new year!
That is really nice. I've made a few terrible robotic hands. I'm still building terrible robotic hands and skulls and stuff. What you've done here is really pretty. Thank you for making this. I love your motor choice.

@@juanit0tackit0tackito2 Ok. Party on. I always did dig that story about a gay hippy who told his bros to leave their families and go fishing with him and party while he does magic tricks and hangs with demons and prostitutes. Seems like you're living that life.
This is pure gold. Subscribed. I learned something and lol in the process.
I thoroughly enjoyed wacthing this!
You gave me motivation. THNX
Yes, one solution for soldering is using breadboard. It reduces development time, and changing components. After development you can use custom PCB board and solder SMD components.
That is how my projects go. Refreshing to see what it really takes to build a project.
Great video and love the humor!
You did great, humorously done with serious attitude......
I have had the same soldering kit for about a year now. works grape
As a recent automatics control and robotics graduate, this video resonates with me on a spiritual level
Laughed my arse off and learnt a bunch of things at the same time. Thanks man. 👍
It was very amusing to watch and I‘ve also learned something along the way. Thank you.
Ur videos have gotten better (in editing) recently
I strongly recommend getting a separate tin of soldering flux. I've found it makes soldering so much easier.
Great progress. Good luck 😊
Love the engineering content
This video was a roller coaster, love your sense of humor 😂
This project is pretty great!
Im so glad the algorithm blessed me with ur channel
Bro you’re the goat 🐐, keep pushing it man 🫂
Your videos are what makes me get up in the afternoon
good channel, even better delivery
Keep going. excellent work ✔✔
Really good video dude!! It was interesting and funny 😄 hoping to see more !!
Great video and humor!
Lol u are like a mix of dani and glarses, i like the humor!
Mate...... your a legend
Awesome! Just awesome!
What do you get when you put your hand in a blender? A handshake.
THE LEGEND UPLOADED!!!!!!!
Wow, cool project! Do keep on with robotics!
Dude, you are a Giga Genius! I like the idea with the fishing line.
You have a good sense of humor !
That's some good soldering
Keep it up, bro!
very good thank you mister IQ man
Siiick, more, more!
My man is back!~
You are so funny, keep on making these amazing videos!
Instead of jumping straight to soldering all your components together, you should've soldered your lead wires from the components and connected the leads through a breadboard to ensure that your wiring was correct and that all wire connections made to the components were done securely without damaging the component itself. All in all, don't be disheartened by your mistakes, be glad that you not only learned from them but were able to teach others about how you set out to learn by doing. Great video, subbed.
GLARSES TRANSITIONS!
Awesome 👍
glad i found this, i have a large project coming up, but no a lot of money and room for mistakes
your sense of humour is fantastic, cant stop laughing, cool hand btw
Wow this is as mechatronics as it gets. This is one of the coolest, detailed videos.
awesome video, man
Every single bit of this is relatable
great video, this is channel is very underrated
Agreed. It does not happen very often that I am laughing out loud watching videos, and this video made my day!

1:43 Loving your influx of new content so far.
you inspired me, love your work and meme.
Brother this Is one of the best video on elettronic that i have ever seen. really (Sorry for bad english)
Nice project! Was there any consideration for using mini micro motors, also known as pager motors?
randomly found this channel it is good I am subscribing it
You did an amazing job
I would also like to repeat this project if I had more free time
dip your wire tips in flux, like just coat that stuff up, even if you get flux solder. It's a lot easier for new guys at soldering. Dip your soldering tip in the flux also and then you can apply solder easier to the iron, and thus no need to hold the solder wire as much.
cool video, gave me motivation
All I learned was to buy the Lego robot hand kit if I need a robot hand, but I was very entertained. Subbed!
i respect this level of dead inside. you are prepared
Time well spent mate, time well spent.
This person can become a stand up comedian someday.
I did one of those for a school project, it wasn't very good though. It hardly could hold a water bottle reliably and I used buttons to activate each finger.
5:06 nice soldering
Bro the fucking ChatGPT bit hit hard cuz that shit felt so relatable.
well done!
This is a really good video and it's pretty funny
Haha you're funny man. Great video and well made project. Great watch ❤️👍
Very well made video
Sarcasm king is back!!
Gonkee we missed you!!
Tips for soldering ic just solder the 4 side first so your ic will be tight enough
When you cut that pcb on the bandsaw a part of me died a little.
i wont stop you... you know, this is the one thing you always wanted.
thanks for the video
As a software engineer I must say you are my personnal hero bruh
