Only 2 issues I found with S24 ultra: Not as "fall resistant" as the mid budget M35, thanks to its sharp corners rather than rounded ones The speakers not loud enough for external media such as RUclips (you were hardly audible as I watched this video in a closed small noiseless room) even when dollby is on These two points are covered in their mid budget M35. Obviously because M35 released at least 6 months later. Perhaps they'll sort it out in S25. But that's no use for those who already invested in S24, unless Samsung upgrades us for a nominal cost. A third related point is that the M35 has 6000mah battery, which allowed me at least 12 hours of binge watching on a single charge, or a 3.5 days battery life with minimal use. I've not got that with S24 Ultra. But I'm okay to let that pass, as a larger battery obviously makes the phone heavier (the M35 surely was). But still, it's a point to consider.

This phone's amazing, me and my brother recently bought ourselves new phones. I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max and he got S24 Ultra. I can't say I regret buying the iPhone because I like the OS and how nice the phone feels. I've used both, the differences are so small that it just comes to the personal preference. People really hate iPhone and I don't really understand why.. I've been an android user all my life and I decided to get an iPhone to experience its OS. As I said both have advantages and disadvantages.
i own both S24U (personal phone) and 15PM (work phone given by my company). i'm running 10gbps internet connection at home so i tested both wifi connection speed and the results are night and day : 15PM 70-80mbps , S24U 1.3-1.5gbps. I think the cameras don't perform as expected. Are great cameras but you have to understand how they work and when to use each, is not as well optimized as iphone but its flexibility allows you to get amazing results. I'm not so happy tbh but was less happy with my iphone 13 😂
Making the switch back to Samsung with the S24 today after being with Apple for two years and owning an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple phones are pretty and user friendly but they just don't capture me like Galaxy phones and Android.

Samsung never had a good speaker, for the price. Sold my Iphone 14 Pro Max, now using S24 Ultra, is very good at everything except the speaker, one of the worst, no bass at all, even the pixel 8 pro has more bass.
Yes, I'm currently having Xperia 1 VI and s24 ultra and deciding which to keep. Samsung sounds poor next to Xperia , really. But overall at the moment I think it is better phone as whole package
u use speakers watching content? honestly i hardly care about speaker sound quality as i lije to invest in a good earbuds to give me great sound and more immersive experience. The most important is call quality rather than speaker sound IMO.

I have never wanted to use a phone as much as the S24 Ultra. Let me tell you, Samsung hit it out of the park with this phone. Everything about it is premium. It makes my iPhone feel like a toy!
S24 ultra love the purple 💜 it runs so smooth I made a great choice 😊😊😊
🎉I love mine as well. Got the gray!❤
Because iPhones don't have call recording feature baked in the OS. Customisation is almost non existent. Cannot install apps from other sources.
i own both S24U (personal phone) and 15PM (work phone given by my company). i'm running 10gbps internet connection at home so i tested both wifi connection speed and the results are night and day : 15PM 70-80mbps , S24U 1.3-1.5gbps. To confirm even further i use both my nephews 15PM and the results are the same. Even on cellular connection i get better bars reception on the S24U compared to the 15PM. Very weird..
Another great video!!
When ever i need to read something but don't have time i just use circle to search then copy and past in notes then summarize😅
their is down sides the batteries pants they need to sort out how the battery works on any phone before putting bigger screens etc on 4 or 5 hours of screen on time is rubbish
i got s22 ultra it last 9-12 hrs screen on time with youtube and messenger. but you to know all the tweeks need to turn off. if i get s24 ultra ill get maybe 24 hrs Sot with maybe 30 percent left fkr next day. it drives me crazy before i dont i have good Sot before s22 ultra now everything is smooth and doesnt overheat now compare before.
@@jonjonalbertlopezlopez2331 samsung needs to catch themselves on with rubbish batteries half of these videos people must have their flippin phone on with half of everything disabled like airplane mode 5 hours sot is a joke for a phone over £1000 quid plus to get rid of the 10x was compltley stupid in my eyes
My S24+ lasts about 12-hour SOT. All radios enabled. Vibration is on. Are you using your phone as a server? lol Samsung can't fix that.
@@bassyey were talking about an s24 ultra not a flippin plus ya clown. And what u talking about radios.
I get better than 4 or 5 screen on time. Mine on average 7 to 8 tbh
But I thought all the S24ultra models came with Snapdragon only the 24 and 24+ came with either snapdragon or Exynons,or?
S24 and S24+ came with exynons and S24 ultra middle east version came with snapdragon but all others S24 ultra versions comes with exynons.
@@jackuk2024nope every s24 ultra comes with snapdragon gen 3
Chose to keep the S23 Ultra as there was not a big enough difference in the new model for an upgrade. My S23 Ultra still runs good but I’ve currently replaced it with the OnePlus 12 and I’m loving it so far!
"Chose" like why did you even think about it in the first place. Your phone is one year old lol.
@@bassyey Some people upgrade yearly. So it's not like that is uncommon.
S23 U has better cameras overall and better battery life imo.
@@rahullulay Cameras I will give you but battery life? Have you ever used the OP 12? Just asking because I've done my own comparisons and it isn't even close.
@CoachD77 I was only comparing the samsungs between S23U and S24U. Haven't used the OP12 but have heard great things about it might give it a try. It's also priced really well.
Nice now i decided to buy s24u its amazing what you can do with it and i know it is expensive but worth to buy!
I bought yesterday ❤
You kinda messed up and showed one of the lens to be 100mp when its 200mp
Whoops that's my bad
The S24 Ultra use SnapDragon world wide, not only in Australia
I think the cameras don't perform as expected. Are great cameras but you have to understand how they work and when to use each, is not as well optimized as iphone but its flexibility allows you to get amazing results. I'm not so happy tbh but was less happy with my iphone 13 😂
What a great video!
Making the switch back to Samsung with the S24 today after being with Apple for two years and owning an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple phones are pretty and user friendly but they just don't capture me like Galaxy phones and Android.
I’m in same boat. iPhone is great simple phone. But dam I’m so bored. I like messing with phones and just hate the limitations we’re given.
In the market for a secondary phone. Wholesale Apple user for decades. But am thinking of picking it up. You think it would be a good idea? I was going to save money and pick NOTHING phone. Did not flirt with android after nexus 4. Main usage will be - clicking pics of my little one and then basic stuff. No use for s pen. Gratitude from India
2 more months and it's mine 😢 I can't wait any longer 😢
How do you only have 16k subs..this is bs
Too big for a phone. Can't carry it for long I have to switch my SIM to the regular 24. I keep the regular 24 longer in my pocket and come back to the Ultra for a few days again.
Small hands, no party! I do sometimes appreciate the smaller models after using the ultra for a while
Now that iOS will have RCS support, no need to get on the apple train; Samsung will be that much powerful!
Lol right the anti glare is nice
Great review, thanks.
I love my S24U but I love my Pix 8 more. Idk I'm not bias. Love all my Droids but man pixel pictures is just 😘 and my liking. Just wish the Pixel follow Samsung with customization.
Pix or pix 8 pro...i decide between those 2 now
@@kamilaw.2126 same same. Just need the customization from Samsung to Pixel lol
Watching this on my s24u finally haha
Watching from my Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus 512GB. I like rounded edges.
Got mine in first prebooking. It's amazing.
Hoe TF 😂 you do a "long term #review" if you barely had the device 😂
I have one, best phone ever bro. But "long term"... 😂😢
I love this phone but the battery men it drain so fast
7hrs sot meanwhile getting 5hrx max,.......
So you mean iPhone has better camera than S24 ultra?
Nah
Samsung takes slightly better photos but iPhones videography is on a league of its own
Nope. Both equal for the most part. Video perhaps iPhone edges out
I’m watching this on my iPhone 15 pro max and it sucks
S24 ultra has 200mp sensor not hundred even it was 100 mp it would be 108mp do your research man
Yes, I appreciate I made an error. I’ve clarified this in another comment. Thanks again for watching
@@CJYing name of the music ?
go get it even coming from a iPhone 14 pro max
Going to switch from iphone 14 pro max to s25 ultra
Old emojies
The most important is call quality rather than speaker sound IMO.
iPhone 15 pro max has better battery life.
To big phone for me
Idk i get better sot with my iphone 15 pro max then i do with s24 ultra not that impressed so far
take note that S24U can do more things and running more apps in the background compared to Iphone. I disabled some and able to get a good 7-8 hours screen time.
Battery is very bad on S24U so please stop kissing Samsung a*ss they won’t sponsor your videos
wow such hate words.. just appreciate every tech company and enjoy it as end users. S24U has many apps running and is a workhorse compared to iphone so of course it will drain faster but if u disable some in settings u can get a good 7-8 hours screen time just like mine. My 15PM and S24U battery lofe is next to neck so not sure what u're talking about..
