Kerala Municipal Building rules and Panchayat building rules provide that a specific distance should be maintained between a building and the boundary of the plot on which the building is being constructed, which are called setback distance

Good Information. Thanks a lot. Just have a doubt. Next to my flat there is a commercial activity going on both front and adjacent side. It is a kind of ware-house for heavy materials. There are 12 flats in the building and all are occupied. And the activity is kind of nuisance to the people who living there. Is it allowed to have such commercial activities going on very near to the building? if yes what should be the distance they should keep from a residential area? could you please guide us before once can go and lounge a complaint ! Dear friend, for a building which obtained regularisation order on 2009, will any subsequent amendments be enforced later on ??? ie KMBR Act of 2019 be applied for buildings constructed before that.

What is the setback at rear and front for a plot having roads at front and rear for a group F building.On the front side it is 5m wide road and the rear side it is 3m wide road. Please advise with supporting documents, if any. I couldn't find any in KMBR 1999 and in the amendments, please advise.

2 side റോഡ് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ( front and side) സൈഡിൽ( road ഉള്ള side) എത്ര മിനിമം set back കൊടുക്കണം? Front സൈഡിൽ 3m confirm ആണ് but സൈഡിൽ കൂടി റോഡ് ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഇത്ര വേണം എന്നു എവിടേയും പറയുന്നില്ല. Not even in table 4. PWD road ആണ് ഉള്ളത്.
പലരും തങ്കളോട് ഈ ചോദ്യം ചോദിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. But answer പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

CRZ ബാധകം അല്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ എങ്ങനെയാണ് വീട് വെക്കാൻ ഉള്ള നിയമം ? ഈ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ നദിയുടെ കരയിൽ നിന്നും എത്ര മീറ്റർ ദൂരം സ്ഥലം വിട്ടിട്ട് ആണ് വീട് പണിയാൻ ആകുക ? KPBR ഇൽ ഇതിനെ പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞു കാണുന്നില്ല.
