Epic! I think we’re all hoping for an MK11 Sporter that’s a little higher in the comb and all scroll engraving. I’d keep the solid ribs though, gives me an excuse to miss and looks prettier 😉
I had one of the 1st Mk11’s 30” barrels when bought out it took me about a few months too really gel with it I also found that when I put two certain make cartridges through it found with one it kept putting the auto safety on and another would not go too straight too the next barrel I swapped chokes see if that was the issue but still same. Tried another brand cartridge never been an issue so maybe cartridge specific I don’t know, but love the gun it’s a keeper too be passed on too my grandson, I like the game scene engraving but each too their own. Wholeheartedly agree the choke key is a joke and considering the price anyway nice review Lloyd spot on and Mr John Henry with you
Great video I've got 3 berettas and a mk11 and the mk11 is sure hard to beat in terms of the way it shoots and the level of fit and finish, beretta could do with taking note of the way mirouki finish their guns
Very different to the MK11 Upland I bought here in Australia roughly 4 years ago. Also different to the ones currently being sold here. It seems they have different grades and styles for different countries.
I was recently in the market for a new gun and one of these was very high on my list. I ended up with a Chapuis C135 Super Orion with all acanthus scroll engraving. I absolutely love it. Even though the MK11 is shallower in the action than some I found the even shallower round action of the Chapuis aesthetically more pleasing and it is a dream to shoot. I know you gave a quick review on one once but would love to see an in depth review from you on one.
Hi Lloyd personally I prefer beretta I have a 692 black edition and love it but I must say the miroku MK11 does look very nice I believe it was John Henry having a new gun made hope you hade a fabulous Christmas and may this new year be better for everyone
Is it John Henry from Bywell? Lovely looking gun but agree completely on the engraving. I would definitely go for a true sporter in stead I think. Happy Christmas.
@@MR12GAUGE Thank you for the reply, I personally have two brownings and really like them. I would be nice to see them bump it up a notch or two and get on the world stage and get the recognition they deserve. May club is full of people with the higher end stuff that can’t stop taking about awesome they are and point out their gun wins championships. Fortunately I can remind them the gun is gun but they suck at shooting it.
* As a bird hunter, I do enjoy game scenes engraved on my guns, if nicely done. Gives me something to remind me of why I'm out there, especially if the birds aren't flying. For a hunting gun, I much prefer double triggers with more drop than a target gun. For a hunting gun, a solid rib is easier to keep clean than a ventilated rib. A pound or so lighter would be nice for a hunting gun. It sure is apparent how much the target crowd has influenced the gun manufactures. To bad these manufacturers don't offer options for the real bird hunters that are still in existence. I guess the demand for specialized hunting guns is not a profitable endeavor.
I believe that was Lloyd being sarcastic and derisory about the style of the game scene. Unless Northerners have a different looking chicken to us southerners
I remember when Japanese production was tin toys, dangerous at best. Obviously an export model. Few Japanese are over 6' tall (laughing all the way to the bank).
Jason Doyle - The Irish legend
I use Italian shotguns for depradation control on large orchards and vineyards, Italians make superb shotguns.
I have Japanese rifles that are super the Japanese are really craftsmen of the highest order and that gun looks amazing.

The legend that is Mr Jason Doyle! Gee thanks for this review Lloydy 🙄 as if I don't need any more incentive to buy one. Wonderful gun

thats what i am looking for, Clay-field gun. 32" or 34" barrels. old school well built gun, that pounds the clays.
Great looking gun , Happy Holiday 's Lloyd and Family.
🧑🎄🧑🦳🎄☕🥂
in the US, the browning version has all scroll engraving
Great stuff, cheers Lloyd. Have a good one 👍🍻
Great review, couldn't agree more with your points. Maybe the sporter version may be better engraved.
Jason Doyle. Have to agree on the engraving, it's just not quite right.
I’m with you on the engraving and solid ribs ps it was John Henry
Sorry if I missed but is it HP steel proof?
Is it John Henry from Bywell?
Lovely looking gun but agree completely on the engraving. I would definitely go for a true sporter in stead I think. Happy Christmas.
Believe it was john henry with you in Italy and merry christmas to you too.
Beautiful gun 😍
Thanks for all the videos. Question, why do I not see Browning or Miruko used in ISSF or Olympic trap ? I really don’t know.

i love everything about it except the choke key
"Lowest Effort Choke Key" LMAO Thanks for another great review Mr. P.
You are very welcome.
Lloyd
It was John Henry, being fitted for the best of the best....Perazzi.
Great update, always enjoy the gun shorts and reviews.
John Henry for competition entry
John Henry from Bywell 😊
How about a mk10 review. Can't find one out there
That’s because they aren’t sold in the uk.
Every one to there own opinion. But I do like everything about the mk11, I have had mine now for about a year and a half, I just can't fault it
Another great video.
John Henry
John henry. Have a good Christmas 🎄
8 pounds 3 ounces with 32 inch barrels. It is well balanced but heavy to carry. Better as a Trap and Sporting Clays shotgun weighing over 8 pounds.
I believe it was John Henry. Cheers,
* Do people in the UK call partridges, chickens?
No.
@@lloydyp * Thanks for your feedback. Those birds look like Hungarian Partridges to me.
