It's a very fine line between "over rich" and beautifully functional. As in a gun that's not too precious to actually use. It sounds like this gun hits the sweet spot.
Hi John, as you know I'm a great Browning /Miroku fan having owned both from the early 70s I've really enjoyed this video with your take on the gun .I'd just like to say personally I have never thought the Browning action has ever lent itself to side plating in 12 gauge . I have always thought they look cumbersome , yet in the 20 and smaller gauges they look absolutely wonderful ! .
Completely agree. This has all the beauty of a heritage 20 bore, but with the practicality of a 12. Can’t wait to get one out on the pheasants at some point. Just wish they hadn’t fitted a pachmeyer. Going to make extending one out (when I eventually buy one) a nightmare
As a lifelong Miroku fan, this is a beautiful gun - thanks for sharing with us - now need to spend money I don't have on things I don't need...but would love to have..!
About time! The highlight of my Sunday is the TGS video. Ok maybe not the highlight but I do very much look forward to it. I have to admit I am a bit of a philistine when it comes to engraving, but I do like this, and the wood. My problem would be I would never use it for shooting as I wouldn’t want to get it dirty, or scratched.
Hey John, You are the gentleman that introduced me to “TWEEDL” back in August of 2022, I have entered several drawings since then and I WON the Miruko MK11 in December of 2022! I am in the process of Export/Import of my new gun since I am a resident in South Carolina in the US, it is a beautiful shotgun and I am planning to use it on Sporting Clays!
Stunning! BCM Has a winner there. 6.2K For such a gun is not a lot of money. Well cared for, it could give 5,6,7 generations of pure pleasure. If it wasn't for this awful pandemic, I'd be ordering one tomorrow!
The MK11 sporter has been available in New Zealand and Australia for about 5 years. mirokushotguns.com.au/sport/ But for whatever reason they have not offered it in the UK.
Jonny, knowing your love for Miroku's, recent visit to the Rizinni factory, knowledge and taste for guns, I figure you must be the right person to ask.. Mk11 Sideplate or Regal Deluxe?? I'm honestly torn. My heart says Rizzini, but I'm shooting clays with a 725 ProSport, which I absolutely love, and are therefore drawn to the Mk11 for obvious reasons. From what I can see, the guns are very similar spec'd, both technically and in price, yet they are so different. What is your take?
This would handle most clay shooting very well - would love a combo version with a tapered rib and slightly chunkier stock as an option. Who knows what will come in the future
Could you do a video on various Butt pad/recoil pads sometime? show us which pads are your favourite and what's generally available to people. I just spent ages looking for a Pachmyre for my new Mk38. I couldn't stand the pad it came with, even after taking the sharp corners off of it i was still finding it very noticeably uncomfortable to use. Personally i really like the Inflex and Berretta pads but neither fit the MK38 dimensions
There you go again, teasing us in the USA with your lovely and unavailable Miroku's. Guess I'll just have to sit here cleaning my extended capacity 7 shot Assault Revolver and say Niyah, niyah, niyah.
Nice enough gun, although I do struggle to justify the cost of these. You can get 3800 or MK38 trap gun for not very much at all and it would be perfect for anything. Great review, really can’t go wrong with a Miroku.
Gorgeous Gun! Im a beginner shooter and am looking at an all rounder £600 s x s or o x u. was wondering whether anything had changed since the last video sorta 3 years ago? would love some feedback or even a video giving a update!
Gorgeous looking gun on par if not better than a dt 11 ell which is probably £10000 more. Feel another bank loan coming on. Ty tgs for another great introduction.
It looks better, it allows for more creativity in stock and forend shape, it lovers the overall balance of a gun which changes the way fit feels in the hands.
I like the woodwork and the solid mid and top ribs, but the engraving style doesn't do it for me. I'm more a fan of the small scroll style. I handled a Guerini Forum the other day and was very impressed. I realize it's in a different price category though
The forum is lovely, a good friend has had one for 5 years and it shoots brilliantly, if it had Invictus Internals it would be way up there in my list of guns to own
Totally gorgeous Johnny but way out my price range , loving your videos and honest reviews , at a stretch I’ll go to 2.5 grand for a O/U that does crows ,Maggie’s , pigeons and clays but what gun ? steel proofed ,30” barrels , multi choked ,new or second hand ? Miroku, Beretta or Browning , I’m of the older generation and getting back into the shotgun again , So HELP please Johnny !
The 6200 gbp RRP is just over 11k AUD at the moment. That's less than a bottom-end DT11 sporter with zero engraving, much less than a 687 EELL. Yes, it's a lot for a Miroku, but the combination of bullet proof reliability, quality/longevity and that engraving makes it a winner in my books!
It's a very fine line between "over rich" and beautifully functional. As in a gun that's not too precious to actually use. It sounds like this gun hits the sweet spot.
Really lovely looking gun, glad Miroku seem to have nailed this one.
I bought one today !! It shoots as good as it looks. Very pleased !!!

Afternoon 😎 That is a lovely looking gun. Side plates lend real classic look and that engraving really pops. Doesn't hurt that it's a Mirook either ;)
favourite channel on youtube..hats off to you
A miroku is for life, not just for christmas😂😂
As a lifelong Miroku fan, this is a beautiful gun - thanks for sharing with us - now need to spend money I don't have on things I don't need...but would love to have..!
I think this is a stunning gun and a fantastic as always video. ❤
Got mine Thursday what can I say it’s something else even better in the flesh shoots like a dream worth every bit of money spent on it
The review leaves little to be desired. Fantastic overview, completely on the mark. Your enthusiasm brings the details to life.
Beautiful gun. Considering how much they are asking for a Fox double barrel made by Savage, almost 5000 $ .Great videos.
Very nice, and available with 28" tubes.i'll be getting shut of the eell&525 and having one.thanks johnny👍
Stunning gun gorgeous engraving, I thought my MK38s were nice but this is another level , the wallet is already crying but there’s room in the safe.

That wood is perfect. I want one!
Went to look at one as instructed, now own it, enough said.
Thanks for focusing on Miroku gun. from Japan, Miroku stockholder
♥️
I want. Action looks similar to a 20 bore browning heritage

Really works for me tbh. Will be looking very seriously at this later in the year.
Be a sweet upgrade
All I can say is wow just wow that looks so good beautiful
OK when I saw your post on IG I thought nope! But wow! Wish they were available in the States
I’m sure it would
Be worth the hassle of getting it over to have the one state side
@@tgsoutdoors I wonder if there is a shop in the UK that could help with that😜
I may know a guy
@@tgsoutdoors bet you do 🤔
This is a very stunning looking gun.
THAT IS STUNNING! Way out of my league unfortunately but definitely on my dream gun list.
I shoot the Browning Utlra XS Pro Sport in 12b and the Browning Heritage in 20b and I can see this adding nicely to the collection…. Stunning.
Well this is now part of my gun collection and is the perfect game gun and not bad on the clays either......
Stunning!

Will Miroku do a sporter model of this gun? It looks really good.
The MK11 sporter has been available in New Zealand and Australia for about 5 years. mirokushotguns.com.au/sport/ But for whatever reason they have not offered it in the UK.
Wish MIroku were sold in U.S.A.
Talk to a knowledgeable FFL about importing one for you, they can import firearms on a limited basis.
They used to Charles Daly
That is the holy grail shotgun for me. I could literally stare at that side plate and wood all day long. Too bad for us guys in the USA 😢

Dave Carrie already got a pair of these!
Great vids awesome comments love my browning but this is a def game changer !!! Thanks Johnny!
I really hope they bring out a clay version of this, it look stunning and has a great price point.
This would handle most clay shooting very well - would love a combo version with a tapered rib and slightly chunkier stock as an option. Who knows what will come in the future
What a beautiful gun, looks really great
Thanks for this video

oooh yes, in 16 bore !
Sweet baby jesus, that wood is gorgeous 😍😍😍
That’s going to shake the marker up awesome Gun
I have to have a look at one of them !! What a stunning gun !!!!!
But any good for clays ?? As I would like one for game and clays
Another good reason is now in the world to be a Miroku fanboy!
Yeah. Ok. I’m really liking this now! Wasn’t sure of it in stills, but for the same cash a pair of English Fields might tip the balance for me
The English field is a stunner, tough call that. Is a lotto win and a pair of these not an option....

Where can I get one?
No mid bead? I think this is now my dream gun! But I’m still in love with my mk38 grd5
You and David at Oxford should have shot it together. You both agreed its stunning. Thnks
Gorgeous Gun! Im a beginner shooter and am looking at an all rounder £600 s x s or o x u. was wondering whether anything had changed since the last video sorta 3 years ago? would love some feedback or even a video giving a update!
Just bought this to replace mt 692. Which is still forsale😊
I want, and the price when you said it 😀, I was definitely expecting it to be more in the 9-10k mark
The fact this gun will be on shelves for about £5800 is mind blowing!
@@tgsoutdoors this makes it even better, that honestly is a serious amount of gun for 5,800
Why do I watch these videos, now I'm going to spend more money for no reason... Thanks Johnny!
Wee bit out my price range going to get a mk 60 with open chokes. So can shoot steel
I have both a 20 and 12 gauge ou they don’t look like that ,both made in the early 70s
any good for clays ? seems a tad light flush chokes ?
I want that gun as a sporter please, multi choked and trap forend!
Vented barrels.
Wasn’t sure about the engraving, looks better in ‘life’ than in the press pics though 👍🏼
It will look nice from a distance unlike a subtle gun
Will this gun be available in the USA?
I wish we could get these in the USA
What have you done after 30 seconds I was sold have to have one my dream gun for sure anyone want to buy a famars ?
Gorgeous looking gun on par if not better than a dt 11 ell which is probably £10000 more. Feel another bank loan coming on.
Ty tgs for another great introduction.
Stunning gun. I want one ... now.
Looks Gorgeous
I want one with Saturdays' rugby score engraved on the top lever.
When everyone though Miroku where dull!
What are alternatives at this price point? Seem a lot of gun for the money
Can someone explain the pros and cons of a low profile action? I’m new and wanting to learn. Thank you
It looks better, it allows for more creativity in stock and forend shape, it lovers the overall balance of a gun which changes the way fit feels in the hands.
@@tgsoutdoors Thank you very much for your reply, after watching more of your videos, it’s all starting to make sense.
Beautiful gun but please what about the cast. Why do you hardly ever mention something so important concerning the fit
You do the best videos, get right to the point without the BS and self-promo...I subscribed so keep it up.
what a stunning looking gun it is defo 1 to aim for
Very pretty looks, yes please!!
Stunning gun! Any way for you guys to export one to the US for me??!!
Will that gun be coming to the uk?
Very soon!
when do we get your field test
Unfortunately you can't get it in the US. Thanks Browning.
Yeah, but you get other toys we don't get to play with. Its swings and roundabouts. ( is that saying used in the US?)

So beautiful!
Beautiful gun!
Nice looking shotgun.
Lovely lovely looking gun
Where do I sign?
I think Johnny likes this Gun😍
It is lovely
Stunning
I'd sell my own grandmother for a sporter version of this.
Is there one in the pipeline?
this gun sells itself
Supreme, just supreme!
All of the above will do. Pick one you like to look at and feed good in your hands and you won’t be unhappy
that is super lush!
With fixed chokes this model would be perfectly balanced and even more superior, if that is grammatically possible.. A future classic, top banana.
Would love to buy one and get a spare set of 32” fixed choke barrels so I could choose between them!
Perfect gun, not som ungainly brute sporter gun but a game gun. Why didn't you take to the range show how it patterns?
Oohh I want one of these
In the first 20 seconds I heard this thing is ungodly expensive. At 4 min 10 I heard $15,000 AUD
@@fiacitro Didn't say it wasn't pretty. Your average shooter would never buy one.
Is it twice as good as a 525 Exquisite?
Yes
The.....errr.... Browning Heritage
Shocked there is not a 32" barrel 😳
Thats pretty.
Something about silver and black barrels just doesn’t go together perfectly for my eye.
Alas, champagne dreams with beer money. . .
Story of my life!
Ahhh Miroku, putting all the so called top level guns to shame since the 60s
Q linda arma amigos excelentes🇪🇨🇪🇨👍
Dream gun
I’d buy that for a $1... in 16 or 20 maybe even 28... I’m not picky.
But Browning won’t let me. 😒
