    Size of the strafe is also determined by the range of the gunfight. Mini-strafing while getting sprayed at up close is pretty much staying within the spray diameter.

    Hey Jollz! I'd love to have your coaching perspective on ways I can improve my impact as a controller/support player, as well as my positioning. I've been finding it super difficult to have much impact because of my more passive playstyle, which leads to me having less damage/fewer kills, and usually leaves me in really uneven retakes or clutch positions. I really love your approach to the game and your emphasis on good positioning and awareness, which I think could help me work on this. Thanks!

      I'm no radiant, but my main is diamond 1, my alt is plat 3 after just 5 placement games, and my second alt is plat 3 as well with only 2 placement wins (trying to get it to silver or gold so I can play with my friends). I was silver/gold last act playing with my wife and a friend. I'm hoping I can help you a little bit.
      The only role I don't frequent is controller/support, as I have noticed it really takes good comms and to be in-sync with your other teammates for executions, otherwise you miss the timing and you put yourself in a bad situation. It's the same for me, when I'm forced to pick smoke, I'm either match mvp or bottom frag, never consistent. And a lot of the times, you need to be the IGL, as you know what part of the map you are smoking and you are timing your utils. I'd say if you really enjoy playing controller, take the IGL role, work on your comms, and change up the playstyle a bit (be reasonably more aggressive and play around your teammates). You will probably notice quite a bit of difference in your gameplay, and in this game confidence do help a lot, which I think you will gain by playing more aggressively.
      Good luck and have fun!

      @k.w5804 Год назад +1

      @@ammanmahmood2987 if you are a confident player and you find yourself winning duels most of the time, then I think you should. I play duelist and sentinel only. If you are gold now given such a short play time, you are going to hit plat in no time. Plat and gold skill wise are pretty much the same. Plat players play a bit more as a team but can get lost half way they the round like gold as well.
      I think all you need to do is take it easy, have a daring mindset and treat ranked game like unrated. If you can, stream or record your gameplays as well and go back and do self vod reviews just for fun. That’s all. It takes some play time to hit plat but not a lot. If you are solo queuing, have a good mental. Gold and plat lobbies are terribly toxic sometimes
